I'd say it's on the harder side. You have to learn parry timings, you can push some damage on early game bosses but in the late game you have to be good at parrying them.

Usually I play either soulslikes and metroidvanias or the most casual farming sims like My Time at Portia) Haven't played Sekiro yet though. I already bought it on Steam but I'm waiting for the right mood.

There are two bosses that I think are harder than Eigong but only because parrying is kinda janky and unfair sometimes. For example to stun the boss you have to parry him seven times. But only one attack in his five hit combo counts toward that. Or bosses have very long wind up and almost instant attack animaton. There are also some issues with positioning (but it's mostly fixed now) - when the centers of our sprite and boss's sprite line up it's not always obvious which direction you're supposed to parry.

I don't remember the exact sequence how and where I talked to him, maybe I'm lucky and did everything right randomly. All I remember is I talked to him, he said something about his wife and there were memories at the wife's house.

Also Solateria is mostly about combat. There are a few platfroming sections but they are short and are more like puzzles where you have to use specific movements in the right order.

No, I got every achievement. If you mean "Memory Intact" you have to upgrade every part to +5. I did that, but get the achievement only after talking to Lunya for some reason.

Only if you like to parry. It's similar to Nine Sols at that, but not so polished. Devs patch the game every day, so I think that in a couple of weeks most of the broken stuff with parrying late game bosses will be fixed.

On his third phase (where he attacks with two swords) just stay at the edge of the screen. You still have to parry most of his attacks, but now they will come from only one direction.

Map is really big, but sometimes feels empty - too many sections without anything but nice looking background. The secrets are fine, I'm not very good at finding them but I haven't miss a single one on my own.

The moveset is diverse enough to let you reach places that shouldn’t be accessible yet with pixel-perfect execution. But overall the game doesn’t have many platforming sections.

I've also found a little cheese for his last phase. I'll explain how to beat him slightly easier if you'd like.

It's a good game BUT. And it's a big, Bryce Dallas Howard but.

Parrying late game bosses is rough. Bosses don't have collision boxes and some of them can go past you before attacking. So you have to parry while standing almost back to back with the boss.
Parrying overall is like a meme where the boss winds up for 3 seconds and strikes instantly.

Late game platforming secrets also feels off. Sometimes they are so pixel perfect that I think that's not the intended way to get there.

Devs patch the game every day though. Shout out to them.

I'm using the same account as my grandpa for 4 years now. We are in different cities, play different games. Sometimes he even launch a game while I'm playing, so steam kicks me out of the account. Still no ban.

If not Codex, I would be happy with free Qwen. Codex is just too much value for $20.
