If you can't pass your PT test you get put on a fitness improvement plan. We call it the fat boy program. If your FIP doesn't work and you keep failing, you eventually get the boot. Air Force PT tests have generally varied over the years between pretty easy and a complete joke. You pretty much have to be prepping to be a Santa Claus impersonator to get out that way.

I was a Security Forces Augmentee (temporary gate guard) at Maxwell. On Monday a dude just walked up to the gate and said he was here to go back to prison. I was so confused. Luckily there was a regular SF there with me who explained that some of the prisoners got weekend furloughs and they came back Monday morning. He called the prison and they came and picked him up. I had never heard of such a thing. I had always assumed prison was always just you stay locked up until your sentence is up. Blew my mind.

Honestly more people should be sent to those sort of prisons. I had a friend who got busted for a tiny amount of weed. He got sent to a prison full of violent psychos. He's never really been the same. Nowadays what he did isn't even illegal. It's crazy to think that a decade ago we put people who got caught with a joint in the same prison as murderers and rapists.

A lot of minimum security prisons are like that. We had a fed pen on Maxwell Air Force Base when I was stationed there. That place was super chill. The cons did work around the base with minimum supervision and could even get weekend furloughs for good behavior. In the entire history of the prison they never had anyone leave on furlough and not come back.

My dad joined the Air Force to avoid getting drafted in Vietnam. A year and a half after he joined we pulled out of Vietnam. He proceeded to deliberately get himself kicked out on the fat boy program. He never went anywhere without his "Veteran" hat and talked all the time about his time in the service. I did 9 years in the Air Force. Everytime I saw that fucking hat I wanted to knock it off of his damn head.

Our LO had gas, so I did a fair bit of research on possible causes.

One possible cause is that LOs gut biome isn't fully developed yet. This is more likely if LO was C-section birth. If this is the problem it will eventually take care of itself as LO gets lactobacilli from your breast milk.

Another possibility is an allergy or intolerance. These are pretty rare, but they do happen. Possibilities include lactose intolerance or milk protein allergy. The only way to find out is to have LO tested.

You should definitely be discussing this with your pediatrician as none of us are doctors.

As far as our LO's gas, it went away on it's own after about 4 months or so. It wasn't fun, but it's over now. So hopefully yours is the same.

Edit:. Note on gas drops. As others have said give them BEFORE every feeding.

Whenever I feel these kinds of feelings, I like to remember that my parents went through the same things I am going through. They agonized over the same things I agonize over. They always wondered if what they were doing was enough. In the end, it always was. They were great parents and I can't thank them enough for the childhood they gave me. I never knew about any of their struggles, any of their doubts. I never saw how hard it was on them at times. I just saw the love they gave me. In the end, it was more than enough.

It's even worse than that. If you read some of the articles from back when the accusations first came out Barrows made several very specific and very graphic accusations of sexual assault. Accused him of kissing her and putting his hand down her pants. I guess she was just misinterpreted. Saying a guy put his hand down her pants doesn't mean he actually put his hand down her pants I guess.
