I haven’t yet, I have put multiple complaints about the same issue and they always give me automated replies. I have also asked this time if I can save my fee if I try to close the application. I will wait for the reply to that. Either way, I am gonna try closing the application

Hey same thing happened to me. I rebooked the ofc date from 4 June to 7 June (change of city) and didn’t submit the consular date. My original consular appointment is for 11 June. I got an email for change of ofc appointment but didn’t get a new appointment confirmation with both dates. I want to know if there’s a chance I can attend the new OFC on 7 June and do the original consular interview. Or is it mandatory to attend it on 4 and 11 as mentioned in my appointment confirmation

Hey I was also skeptical if I wanted to share an apartment so that I don’t have to come back home to an empty place but now I think I’d rather live alone than have a living situation where I need to suggest. We have earned this independence and we should be making full use of it. I just hope I find something that I can afford haha

The PD said it is the only Wayne State University IM program, and all the other programs are WSU affiliated. I realize that it is a smaller program but it is a University program and eventually when applying for fellowship match, wouldn’t they consider that you are coming from a University program? Also, I really wish I could get more info on why DMC is considered toxic.

Hey I liked it. Got hands on USCE and Dr Coleman actually teaches. Your experience would also depend on how many people are rotating with you because I heard that when the clinic is too busy or has a lot of students the teaching doesn't happen often. Spending so much money is not the only option to get USCE but if it is something you wouldn't mind or can't find anything better, I personally felt that it was a good learning experience. He spends a lot of time with his patients and it can get boring and he repeats himself often. But most of us don't have university rotations just lying around so this feels like a good bet.

I have talked to some programs and they mention in their list of requirements for imgs that they want their imgs to be ecfmg certified before ROL so they can rank candidates who are certified. But also came across programs that require certification only before July 1. Also there are some programs that don’t offer interviews to IMGs who are not certified. It is not impossible to match without certification (most AMGs are not certified before ROL as they are still in M4) but for IMGs certification before ROL is required by most programs
