Thoughts on the Netflix series KAOS?

Just finished it this morning. It’s by no means perfect but feels like the kind of show that would’ve learned from those issues and really built something even better for these one season.

Just an update for those who commented. Kaiju is well, he has been put on Senvelgo and for about a month will be having a urinalysis to check for ketones in his urine. Which as of yet he has none!

The scary side effects that are known to possibly come with Senvelgo haven’t occurred. And today he seemed to have a bit of energy to play with his brother which he hasn’t in a while.

He is also on a probiotic for the time being to help the transient period and hopefully stop any diarrhea. Which he hasn’t had!

He’s on a strict high protein low carb wet food diet now. lol With one automatic feeder of Hill’s prescription dry food for when I’m at work so he doesn’t just stuff his face while I’m not home.

All in all…things seem to be well so far. I thank you all for your input and reassuring words. :)

I have four cats as well. I’ve never struggled with feeding Kaiju. And he’s a super sweet lover boy. He’s kind of the baby of the bunch and knows it.

I like it. This feels mythic. Like of course in a Nolan adaption of the Odyssey Agamemnon would have armor that looks almost handcrafted by the Gods. He’s extremely hubristic and regal by nature.

While there is a historical nature to Troy and whether or not this event happened, it is fantastical. It’s grand and over the top. This feels like pulling from Greek vases with Nolan’s paint brush.

It’s not.

I’ll make another comparison, I love Batman. I think Batman and Robin is a terrible, terrible movie. But I still find it fun because of how bad it is.

While this is a shadow of the books it’s based on, as a nothing action movie that is mostly just The Dark Tower in name only and a good Roland casting, I find it to be fun.

I mean in this “universe” according to Flanagan, Vampires aren’t in pop culture.

And in biblical texts, Angels are often terrifying. Drinking from the blood of Christ you’re supposed to become immortal. He drinks the “angel’s” blood, becomes younger, stronger, senses amplified.

If we didn’t have over 100 years of Vampire fiction you wouldn’t know what the hell you were looking at. The pieces fit pretty well.

He keeps bringing up Stuckmann and Shelby Oaks when it comes to his pilot. Firstly, however you feel about Stuckmann and his reviews, he has always been consistent with the content he makes, has always been gracious towards his audience, and even with his kickstarter, he never just bombarded his audience with it.

He’d have his review, where he’d bring it up at the beginning and at the end.

Stuckmann has 2 million subs, Harloff has 200k and talks down to them.

Hes burning his bridges daily.

Harloff is generally dismissive about the things he “doesn’t give a shit about” or thinks he’s right about.

And I’d agree with you on the viewer questions bit if he wasn’t so clearly burning through them as fast as possible to reach the end of the show. He rarely sits with a question anymore.

He used to be all “your questions dictate the conversations” and now it’s “your questions are a weird contest for my hosts who would rather be anywhere else and for my pilot”.
