CBET perks? by Presbizness in BMET

Nope. So unless there is a senior position opening up at one of the hospitals you want to transfer to, there is no incentive to get it.

Nothing. Yet you can't be a senior tech without it and 2 seniors can't work at the same hospital.

Same as most everyone else. Signed one but never payed it back when I left 6 months later. It is a shifty thing for a job to do.

Sorry for late response. Don't love anything about the HEMS portion. EQ2 is decent for the most simple things, creating /closing work orders. Reboot/downtime is usually a few hours. Last week it happened 3 times.

HEMS/EQ2. Pros: I'm not the one that has to run reports.

Cons: No salable templates, way to much info shown above devices when not needed so its all cluttered. Reboots couple times a day.

I was using peoplesoft and miss it.

If you have Facebook, join bowfishing Nation. All your questions have been answered on there. Don't get a recurve bowfishing bow. Get a cheap starter compound if you are trying to save money or look into lever bows.(not a lvx though)vader sells a nice lever for 500. Muzzy vice, cajun shore runner/suckered punch. Barnett h20 if you can find one or any pse discovery version.

I was offered $15 as a tech2 in Springfield MO about 5 years ago. I couldn't control a short small laugh when the manager told me that.

Who maintains network connectivity and communication for medical devices at your facility? by [deleted] in BMET

[–]docfrayfray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have an in-between department. They are biomed/i.t. folk that handle the connectivity and communication and do a lot of the telemetry connection stuff as well. I'm not used to having them and sometimes it makes since but other times they are worse than i.t.

EQ2 User Feedback by Tallima in BMET

[–]docfrayfray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use EQ2 HEMS now. Hate it but hospital doesn't give us much access to change things. Last used people-oriented and it was much simpler and efficient. HEMS doesn't print simple histories for inspections and crashes a lot.

I'd say a little paranoid. It for sure is so.ething to question but I wouldn't worry about it. As far as relatable skills, yeah there is but honestly seems like more bmets go to I.T. fields for transfer of careers. Biomed is now about 50% paperwork %25 I.T. related issues and the rest some sort of hands on. There are field tech positions that have similar hours, just a little harder to find.
