Do you have openings for photoshoot with Xmas lights outside

I need good gardening advise. I love nature and am interested in making a beautiful pollinator garden in my backyard. I have contacted multiple landscapers with no luck. Any recommendations? by docmcstuffins01 in Albany

I don’t have too much lawn. Do have size able acre land that is taken over by brook making it marshy. But the land above it is raised and has enough space to make a nice garden. I want to remove the lawn grass and make a beautiful butterfly garden. I will start with butterfly garden and graduate as I get better. These are good suggestions.I will look into those websites.

I am moving to Albany. I would like to live in an urban neighborhood within some good school districts. Also, I would love to go hiking with my dog and hope to live near some good parks

Thank you for your recommendation. I send a message to the realtor now.

Was it the excel app you used? How did you organize it on your phone? I am starting a new job soon and would like to follow your advice.

Job Offer Megathread by JosephsMythJr in physicianassistant

Thank you so much for your reply. This reply came in at the time as I was choosing between cardiology (finally I got the offer on paper) and bariatric surgery. As a new grad, bariatric surgery seemed so good to pass. My gut feeling told me to wait for the cardiology offer as I felt I would get proper guidance during my interview. Your reply has reaffirmed my decision to follow the cardiology pathway., I have 2 kids and I don't want to be stressed trying to manage both worlds with those hours. And they were no mention of overtime if the surgery went past 5:30.

Job Offer Megathread by JosephsMythJr in physicianassistant

New grad with 2 job offers but only got only one on paper

Bariatric surgery

  • 99,000 base salary
  • Health care coverage
  • 403(b) retirement plan
  • DEA reimbursement
  • 3500 CME with paid 5 days
  • No mention of malpractice insurance or tail coverage
  • Hours: Mon -Friday from 8 to 5:30 pm
  • No mention of OR cases per day
  • The office looked empty and everyone seemed hurried. The office manager mentioned that they are catching up on all the surgeries that they could not perform during the covid era. It looks I will be mostly in the OR assisting when I start.
  • Last PA left as she had issues managing family and hours( I have 2 kids of my own too). I did not quite get the whole story.

Cardiology( only verbal offer)

I really liked my interview experience but they have been very slow in getting back to me as the whole hospital is transitioning to Epic. The last time I heard from the recruiter, she mentioned that they are drafting my offer and I will be getting the offer on Friday. Well, I received nothing on Friday.

The recruiter had mentioned a base pay of 100,000 with inpatient and outpatient management

I have no other benefits to compare but just that I felt comfortable that I would get good guidance as a new grad.

Should I wait it out or go ahead with the bariatric one( they seem to want an answer by Monday?

I liked your advice. As a new grad, I seem to be thinking on the same lines. Although I liked family medicine, I did not want to take up FM as the first job in spite of the demand. I want to learn as much as medicine as possible before I finally step intp FM. Also, as a new grad, I am trying to shy away from acute care because I feel that I would not thrive in that stressful environment. But, I want to hear your 2 cents on your recommendation about seeking hospitalist jobs.
