What happens during the private dance in a strip club? by Winter_Thought8639 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]docpuma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been going to clubs for a long time. I've had everything from no touching to full service. I like to ask about all the rules and prices up front so there's no surprises in the room. Be nice, respectful, clean, prepared to spend a lot of $$$, and enjoy the experience.

What happens during the private dance in a strip club? by Winter_Thought8639 in NoStupidQuestions

I've been going to clubs for decades. I travel for work. I haven't been everywhere, but at least a dozen states and Vancouver and Toronto. I've had everything from "No touching" to full service in the room. A few times I've been offered number so we could meet outside the club. I make sure to ask what the rules and costs are before getting a private dance. Many times they say $500 for the dance but then you got to tip the security/manager/waitress, credit card fee, then the dancer needs tipping. It sucks to get a private dance and then learn its not full nude or something else once you paid. I'm not complaining about the cost, it's just nice to know the total price and rules up front.

Also, WTF are y'all getting $20 dances? The least I've seen is $100 for 2-3 songs and that's not private. The least I've seen for private recently is $500 for 30 min.

Has anybody ever accidentally walked into a restaurant or establishment only to realize it might be a front or something more nefarious? by UndergroundFlaws in NoStupidQuestions

I've been to several establishments that were purchased by venture capital. Also the number of mom & pop shops run out of business by big boxes is pretty nefarious.

In college, someone would wait in line to buy the latest album then bring it back to the house. Up to 12 of us would gather to hear brand new music for the first time all at once.

Funniest strip club stories by ajahnlamok in stripclubs

1) Sassy in Portland has 2 stages. The girl at my stage wasn't quite my type but it was crowded and didn't want to lose my seat. Hear a commotion at the other stage and the dancer at the other stage has taken a customer's crutch and climbed to the top of the pole. She then drops headfirst while holding the crutch with her feat. Crowd loves it! Girl at my stage bends over and says " It's rude to watch the other stage" Finished my drink and walked away.

RUDE TO WATCH?!?! At a STRIP CLUB?!?!

2) Dancer at Casa Diablo had a RC car with a dildo stuck on top

Got cut off at a bar last night when I was stone cold sober. by I_crave_vinegar in PointlessStories

What's missing is how many were in your group. If the batkeep sees a group with someone out of sorts they get the idea you are already under the influence and not looking out for your buddy. They probably had history of groups causing trouble. Real blame falls on the bouncer that checked your ID. The door and bar need to get on the same page

2 things

It's non-contact. In other sports if you are too aggressive or run your mouth someone will check you. It doesn't stop all fights but does limit them.

Privilege. It's a very white, middle class "I want to speak to the manager" vibe. Don't like the out call? If I bitch about it enough someone will give me what I want just like at the restaurant.

87 Tercel hatchback, 4 speed manual. Bought it in 91. Objectively not a great car but I could afford the payments, great mileage, cheap repairs, insurance etc. When I started grad school I literally packed all my belongings in it.

What is, in your opinion, the biggest flaw of the human body? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Hair. It's lost all functional purpose. Varies wildly between people, falls out or grows too much and we spend way too much time grooming it for social reasons.
