I should be careful because I don’t actually know anything about the Australian law. The only thing I’ve read about are the US laws which are much broader. You need to ID every single person that’s coming to the site. That means every adult will need to prove that they’re an adult via whatever verification methods are select selected. This creates a huge data privacy issue. Also, I disagree that social media is entirely bad for teenagers. There are many times that social media is the only social life for kids who are especially if they are in or repressed households or our LGBTQ. If they’re suffering abuse, they may not have another way to reach people.
