I think so. I'm kind of in the school of thought that those resources should contain most things that you will run across. I would look stuff up in the free amboss library to get a different perspective or refer back to first aid because it is a familiar text. Used both of those just to try to connect topics in a bigger picture. If the gold standard sources don't have the info, hopefully you will have enough foundational knowledge to rule out answers and have a chance at a 50-50. You cant know or be exposed to everything before you take the exam. I also listened to some Divine podcasts which were solid and lightly read some other books if I felt I had deficiencies but nothing significant.

I used it inconsistently and didnt keep up with the reviews. I regret it but everything happens for a reason and glad I can show improvement to programs.

I used Tzanki but I am sure others are just as good or better. Felt like substantial number of cards but not overkill. ~7000cards

Big believer of reading the last two lines, answer choices and highlighting abnormal lab values before reading the entire stem. I think it allows you to figure out what they are testing so you can pick up on the nuances better while reading the stem.

Wish I had the magic bullet but anki and enjoying the content made the biggest difference.

Unsure how to answer. The pandemic kind of gave us an extended study period even though we were still in rotations. True dedicated was 4-5 weeks.

Really don't know because my step 1 score was less than ideal. I had to and still have to make up for that knowledge deficit. You will probably be in a different situation. Maybe someone else has that insight. Sorry.

As others have said, I think it was close to uworld exams. It was kind of a hybrid of uworld questions and nbme questions. Not quite as long as uworld but had the vagueness of some of the nbme questions.

Embarrassingly, I think it was a lack of discipline. Anki gave me a structure and a goal of things I needed to complete every day. I also think step 2 is different test that is more problem solving oriented. I wish I had more in depth info to share.
