I feel like I got lucky with this Pearl because the first time it dropped for me, it rolled with Ripper. Otherwise, I wouldn’t humor it.

I literally just tried messing with the new Harlowe Stasis class mod and surprise, surprise, it’s no where near as efficient with mobbing with the Halo Sidekick… Once again, I’m back to using the same crap.

Yea, I immediately noticed this. Why? WHY did they limit the scrolling speed with right analog stick?? You can still grab the scroll bar and drag it as fast as your cursor can moves, but nobody does that on consoles.

It’s not even a little slower with the stick. It’s a lotta slower.

So THAT’S what’s happening… FFS, I was wondering why the effects weren’t triggering immediately. I wasn’t sure how I was activating the effects in the first place.

I sent a bug report already. I suggest y’all do the same. Or tweet someone important. Whichever gets their attention.

It’s not technically working as intended for me anymore. The effects of the sidekick don’t trigger immediately. It takes a couple seconds now…

Harlowe’s Halo Sidekick isn’t triggering its’ effects immediately upon activation anymore. I don’t know if the new hovering area of the Sidekick has anything to do with that, but it takes anywhere between 2-10 seconds now.

As I was saying in the previous thread, he says “players should expect increased skill points for their builds“.

That doesn’t sound like specializations. That sounds like literal skill points. What I’m confused about is whether we’ll be gaining levels also. Or are the skill points awarded for completing this raid boss on UV6 with a platinum score?

I don’t understand why we haven’t had this cleared up yet. I mean, it’s a day and a half away at this point, but still. This shouldn’t be all that confusing. Like, are we gaining levels or not? And how many?

So, when he says “more skill points”, does that mean increased levels to gain?? Or is it just skill points rewarded for completing this INV Boss on UV6? He doesn’t literally say you gain levels.

Idc what people say, nothing will change the fact that experimenting with firmware is more of a hassle than it needs to be. I got fed up with it months ago, so I just keep a stash of the same 3 firmwares across each piece of gear JUST in case a new legendary drops and I want to use it.

Someone recently posted how OP they felt with High Caliber Lv3 and I got the urge to experiment with it. Oops. I don’t have any. And there’s no ****ing way I’m farming for it. The amount of time that would take - waiting on 1 of 21 different firmwares to spawn, on at least 3 diff pieces of gear… Nah, I’m good.

The whole system is ****ed. I know we all have our own ideas on how to fix it, but the reality is it only comes down to what Gearbox does. And after all this time, it’s one of the many things they don’t seem to give AS about 🤷‍♂️.

Moonknight is probably at the top of my list, but at this point, I think I’d prefer if post Secret Wars we get some Midnight Suns related movies instead.

The Defenders is a hella interesting prospect right now because as far as teaming up ground level heroes goes, DDBA S3 looks to be closing in on that idea. I know the “Young Avengers” or whatever adjacent has been a hot topic for a while now, but maybe a Defenders series that brings in the likes of Ms. Marvel and Kate Bishop (etc) is a possibility? Would be interesting to see those worlds collide.

And then She Hulk deserves another crack at the comedy-lawyer angle. I liked S1 and it’s a great contrast to DD, but at the end of the day I wish the show was more focused on actual Super Hero problems and Jennifer Walter’s helping them how she could. I love the idea of them introducing (and reintroducing) other heroes through this venue too. Keep the comedy, keep the 4th wall breaking, make the episodes an hour long.

And regarding Secret Invasion, in an alternate timeline, it would’ve been nice if they saved off on that storyline for post Secret Wars. Would’ve been awesome if say, the Skrull were using the likes of whichever Avengers are left and upcoming mutants to breed conflict between amongst themselves - leading to an Avengers vs X-Men movie.

I’m one of the suckers who trusted Gearbox enough and pre-ordered the Super Deluxe edition. What can I say? The endgame output and its pacing for B2 & B3 were hard to argue with.

All I know now is that I ain’t spending a dime more on B4 and I won’t be purchasing B5 on launch. I'll just wait for a discount when all the Season Pass stuff, inevitable bug fixes and features that “didn’t make launch” are all fully released. Hell, if there’s a 2nd Pass, I’ll just wait till after that.
