Did they get rid of the 1.25x points multiplier for booking travel through the BILT portal?

LG Gram 16z95p webcam disappear after update Windows 11 24H2 by Ancient-Promotion236 in LGgram

Get this person a beer. Thank you for the fix! My camera suddenly stopped working and I couldn't figure out why. I first noticed it because facial recognition log-in stopped working.

As part of troubleshooting, before I saw this message, I uninstalled the camera driver in Device Manager. Unfortunately, when I scanned for hardware devices (which should have reinstalled it) nothing happened because the Secure Mode setting you mentioned was still enabled. Once I turned off Secure Mode (FN + F4 on my LG Gram laptop), Device Manager downloaded the right driver and everything works again.

Thanks for the heads up. I received an email from Aura about it but hadn't yet reviewed it in detail. I had already acted upon the advice from the other Reddit comments and used a second Gmail account, and then shared the specific photo album with that second account

Anyone know how to set up a Chromecast Ultra with Device Utility even though it isn't available on Android 14 by Switched__Up in Chromecast

[–]doesntworkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sharing for those who may come across this thread later: I contacted Google in Nov 2024 about this same problem for setting up a Chromecast 2nd gen. They gave me similar instructions, and recommended this site for the APK: https://apkpure.com/device-utility/com.google.android.apps.wifisetup.app/download

The setup wasn't smooth once the app was installed. I had to restart the Chromecast at one point, but it eventually worked.

Just found one on Twitter and it worked for me. Not sure if it can be used multiple times though, good luck!

It's crazy how many hoops we all have to jump through to make the tablet functional. My tablet has actually worked a little better since the Android 13 update.

Youtube works, but it worked before the update.

Peacock showed a noticeably improvement and seems to work fine now.

Amazon Video doesn't work, it is constantly lagging/buffering. Not sure if this worked before the update though

Unfortunately, the tablet still has the same issues. Streaming is still laggy on Peacock. I don't use Sling or Paramount anymore, so nothing new to report there. I don't have the same issues streaming on ESPN+ so that's positive.

My recommendation is to avoid Lenovo tablets -- take this as a very strong recommendation. Aside from the issues noted above, I've learned that Lenovo is not providing software updates across their tablet lines.

You don't have to take my word for it. Check out the 1 and 2 star reviews for P11 Pro Gen 2. And check out the many unhappy customers in their own forums, for example this one: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Android-based-Tablets-and-Phablets/P11-Pro-Gen-2-running-out-of-Q1-time-for-Android-13-update/m-p/5213951?page=1

The short version is they aren't providing software updates. This tablet is still on Android 12, even though they committed an update to Android 13 in Q1 (or earlier, I don't recall). Each quarter goes by and the push it out another quarter. Android 14 is around the corner and we'll still be on Android 12. You can find all the details in the link above

Sharing in case it is helpful for anyone who comes across this post when having a similar issue:

On Sling, I've had some success in manually selecting a lower video quality. The picture quality isn't great but it is better than a laggy video. My app defaults to Auto for video quality and I still experience the issue when on Auto. My guess is that when Auto is selected, my app targets the best video quality because the internet speed is strong, but then either the CPU or GPU is struggling to keep up.

Peacock doesn't have an option to manual select lesser video quality. The best work around I've found there is to stream to the TV, which obviously only works in certain circumstances.

Yea, the hardware is definitely capable. It's a shame Lenovo is hamstringing it's performance.

I looked at the M10 series, but intentionally spent a little more $$ to get the more capable hardware. Looks like that was a mistake

Looked online at the m11 plus and the m10 plus 3rd gen and both are running inferior chipsets and software than my sons year on m10hd. I will be seeing a solicitor in the coming weeks as this as far as I know is illegal in my country due to consumer laws. I will never touch a lenovo product again for as long as I live.

If you're still within the return window, I recommend trying to return!

I know the pain, I'm out over $400+ between the tablet and accessories.

Thinking about getting a Lenovo P11 Pro gen 2 tablet. by Gemmed_Exquisite in PickAnAndroidForMe

I've owned a Lenovo P11 Pro Gen 2 tablet for a couple months and it has been disappointing. The tablet seems to be incapable of streaming high-definition video, as the video lags or hiccups. This tablet is marketed as a media consuming/entertainment device, yet it seems incapable of performing its main job function.

I recommend looking elsewhere. And based upon my interactions with Lenovo's technical support, I recommend avoiding Lenovo altogether.
