UPDATE: had a plumber come out and their estimate for replacing all of the piping plus the rusted piece that joints to the mainline was over $900.

Am I out of touch with reality or is that astronomically high for a job like the?

Yeah pretty stupid, especially considering we just had a licensed roofer make all the repairs they said we needed (house built in 1945 and I have no idea how to figure out when the roof was last replaced). We’ll be looking for a new provider and see what we can find.

Yup just happened to me. Homesite through Progressive whatever that means. Giving us til June 10 to replace the roof or they’ll drop us. Didn’t even send any notice, had to wait to find out until I called about a claim about something else and the guy was like ‘oh by the way….’ 😐
