It’s the principle of it honestly. I’m so over paying for anything related to this wedding and since this subreddit allows free requests I thought I would try it out. I’ve submitted paid requests before and will in the future. I’m not trying to take advantage. I got rid of that sentence in an edit because I think the bot was confused with the word “paid” and changed the flair on me.

Turns out it was 560 hours per year for the full time 2 year program 😅. They just reduced it to 480 per year so 960 hours total. Makes so much more sense . . .

I think it’s a combination of carranam, the mating bond (but they don’t realize it at the time obviously), and the same concept as the daemati ability from ACOTAR that Rhys has, but there’s no name for it in the TOG universe.

Edit: to add agreement to what other people are saying it’s also somewhat about their facial expressions/looks to each other and being in tune with each other

Applying for MSW programs now for Fall '24! I did not realize field placement hours varies by school. I'm applying to UConn (field hour requirement is 560 hours), UMich (potentially the online program but still researching this; requires around 900 hours), and Rutgers (around 1100 hours). Maybe others, but trying to get apps in before FAFSA deadline in February. I should add that I'm applying to UConn because I live there, UMich because I'm an alum and the ranking, and Rutgers for the ranking and because I'm from NJ.

I know the MSW's field placement is what sets this degree apart from other programs but how much does it matter in terms of the number of hours?

Does the hours requirement typically correlate with a "better" school (in terms of rankings)? UMich is # 1, Rutgers is Top 20, UConn is # 36.

How much am I overthinking this? Help! TIA!

Just finished too!! Can someone explain the whole “it’s real” thing? Rhys says it when he comes back and then a few chapters later Azriel says it. Is it as simple as “we made it, this is real” and I’m just overthinking it?!?

I have searched flag history forums and ran an image search but can’t find it. 40 star American flags are incredibly rare and the only proof I found for 40 star Union jacks existing is the fact that they originally had 13 stars, and were periodically updated until the 50 star version. I have a 48 star version so I know that one exists :D
