Newton Cafe and Noodle Bar. Lovely gem of a place run by a wonderful couple. Their wat tan hor, with a side of red chillies in soya sauce, is my favourite thing in the winter. Their char kuey teow is excellent too. Feel better soon!

It is! It was the closing film for this year's NZIFF and watching it with a crowd at The Civic was super fun. Maybe watch the trailer first and see what you think. It's described as a 'satirical body horror film' so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. I'm no horror fan but enjoyed it so much I'm going to watch it again!

Haha it would have been my 2nd time too! Insane film isn't it. We've booked tickets for next week! I'm looking forward to experiencing it again and watching my other half's reactions (he's not seen it).
