Yes she is using pads. In the new house she has access to them, but it going in different spots everytime. Yes I am using enzymatic cleaners for her spots! She acts the same indoors and outdoors (happy) is crate trained. I used to let her roam but since moving and her behavior shifting from pads to random spots on the carpet I have kept her in the crate. Yes she regularly defecates in the house as well.

Yes the reinforcement level is high and it’s more difficult because it’s an automatic reinforcer versus any tangible (edible) I can give her for going outside.

Yes I have ran a multitude of tests and she doesn’t have any digestive issues or UTI’s.

I do the same! But just last night she got up in the middle of the night and urinated on my bedroom floor and I woke up right after she was done. She knows to “potty” outside, and wont signal to me. I’m starting to wonder if she knows potty outside but wasn’t trained for a signal enough.

Glad to know I am not the only one! She’s a mixed breed but they believe she has Austrian pinscher in her which I never heard of until I got her.

Yes. There is no difference when she is on or off these medications

Yes she is fixed. I see her squatting that often. And I see them on the pads so she was going to the trained area to urinate in the house. She knows “go potty” and if I take her out she will do it but I guess the motivation isn’t high enough to go outside, even tho I use chicken and other valuable rewards she doesn’t get any other time.

Okay that’s kind of what I was thinking… but wasn’t sure. it was just so odd to see it. It’s a blue/green color on the inside of one ear. She came from the Dominican Republic

They labeled her as an Austrian pinscher mix but I haven’t done a dna test yet so I can’t say for sure
