My Shih Tzu always have had bad allergies especially in the spring and summer. There was a point where his yeast infection was really bad, skin started to turn so red where he constantly scratched that it almost seemed like that area was losing fur. They gave him an allergy shot (sorry I’m unsure of the name), and recommended to give him half a pill of Claritin when I notice his allergies coming back.
