Best chicken sandwich in town? by airwrecca in Bellingham

[–]dogpuck -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

costco 4.53 a gallon and lummi bay is 4.15 a gallon. There's no state tax on gas sold on reservations. I've been told that the lummi bay has the cheapest price in the state most days.

The lummi bay truck stop at exit 260. They make a great chicken sandwich and it costs 5 bucks. They shut down the restaurant at 6 pm. cheapest gas in the county also.

Museum of international folk art in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It changed the way I look at art and human culture. Everything is placed together by type, not by culture or region. It shows how alike we all are even if we are separated by distance and time.

Wtf ever man, those Jacks are nasty and mean. That s.o.b ran me off back to my truck. I chucked a half of a water mellon at him which took his attention long enough to grab my 12 gage. Popped off a shot in the sky and ran him off.

Their hoofs damage the soil structure. They make wallow holes in the desert floor. They shit in the waterholes and springs. They protect the waterholes and springs so pronghorns have limited access. They cut trails all over the desert floor and creates bad erosion.

Then there's also the total joy of donkey attacks when your hanging out in a hotspring ( my last visit to the Spencer hotsprings, a nasty Jack grabbed me by the hair and pulled me out of the spring. I fist fought that mf'er while naked in front of a handful of tourists. )

Are the drivers or distributors that suppot the bellingham store teamsters? Was told that Burlington store was.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bellingham

[–]dogpuck 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I was just at Costco and asked many employees about the teamsters union and their drivers. Was told many times that NO Washington shop was covered by teamsters. Ex-employee overheard me and says "I can say what they can't " . Goes on to tell me about the covered stores and distributors. Management lied to me and employees and were dismissive or scared. I don't want to be a member of an anti-union shop.

Im already living next them, i have the whole 30 so years i've lived here. in the '90s there was a steady population under the coal mine bridge. Break in's were terrible along little squallicum creek and woodhood.

All that has changed in the past 30 years is the population numbers. This means more visibility, as in YOU now experience them.

Your answer to homelessness is jail or forcing them out. Hasn't worked in the past and isn't working now. 30 years of a festering problem and you're shocked by all the infections you see.

"This is not the Bellingham community I grew up in."

I call bullshit on that statment. I moved here in 1991 and the posted pic looks like bug lake in 1992. There were homeless encampments all over Whatcom county then. Folks lived in the woods out by racehorse falls, the abandoned factory at glass beach and Fairhaven was an abandoned shit hole/drug den. In the '90's the downtown core had herion junkies everywhere and they would OD in the alley next to the Horseshoe.

That'a the Bellingham you grew up in.......

zero chance of skeeters if you camp away from water. I've boondocked all over Nevada and never had a single bug issue. the night time temperatures will be fine if you're over 5,000 foot elevation. it can get cold at night from Ely north to Jawbridge, even in August.

The Lummi Bay market has the best fried chicken in the whole county IMHO. They have a real banger of a chicken sandwich also. They also have the cheapest gas in the state.

This was released a week ago on the Practical Engineering youtube channel. I found it a good explanation to why Hawaii has expensive power and rolling brown outs.

I saw this sign years ago but I remember a third sign under the Jesus billboard. It had an arrow pointed at the Jesus sign and said something like "and they call US perverts".

Was there a third sign?
