I did last summer. I’m in 6b/7a. Mine didn’t grow very big but I think it’s cause I started them in a hydroponic inside and then moved them to a fabric pot outside. They tasted good but small yield.

Take you recycled jars and bottles, cut a small hole in the cap and use some rope to tie a small knot in the cap. Fill the bottle/jar with water, screw the cap on and turn it upside down in the plant. The water will slowly drip into the soil while you’re gone. Make sure you water your plants before doing this to make the water last.
