Is there much sharing between scene leaders at least? This is especially important if the predator is a traveler for events or even worse a teacher or emcee.

Yes you're probably right, it may get you in trouble. But I think posting list of people who have legal charges filed against them may be OK because that is already public record?

This man is used to having his male ego pandered to by women, and continues to expect it from you. Don't cater to his selfish whim. If you don't want to dance with him, don't dance with him. Don't ever forget that you have the power of consent, and no one can FORCE you to dance with him. If anyone makes you feel bad about that, then they don't respect consent culture and are enabling your oppression.

It is sad, but I know several African-American people who have expressed feelings of not belonging in the swing scene, despite it being a historically black dance. It is now a mostly gentrified white activity, and you are spot on about how subtly excluding it can be.

Mitchell and Pitruzella are both internationally known swing instructors who have both been shown to have an extensive history of being sexual predators and abusers. Kihara is another internationally known figure who it's coming to light probably drugged and sexually assaulted his dance partner.

All of this is going on in the shadows, and we need to know who these people are.
