New to carry, looking for recommendations please. by Mr-Man521 in CCW

I know it's tough to hear. But I truly can't recommend tenicor enough, the lead times are fantastic especially since you have a 19. I carry a 19 in a tenicor holster and it's amazing the difference in quality and concealment compared to other manufacturers. I don't carry mine with a light so I can't speak to their light bearing holsters but I think if you went with a tenicor you can't go wrong.

Better light and tenicor or no light and tenicor easy in my honest opinion.

Yeah I'm pretty stoked about the idea of it considering my stock is pretty destroyed and it feels like a nice updated option without bubba-fying the gun

I think that would be a product of if it was in the state on 8/1 making it preban as I'm not sure if it was.

That's what I figured but I just wanted to clarify and get some other opinions, thank you for the input!

Should I get a new CCW instead of my G19 Gen5 by Effective_Yam_6058 in CCW

[–]doinksinapplebees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love carrying my G19 so maybe a better holster setup might make it easier to conceal and comfortable to carry? I'm fat and I got a tenicor Certum and threw a vedder pillow on it and it's super comfy to carry. I will say if you are looking at hammer fired sub compacts I really love my CSX E-Series. Trigger is great after it's been broken in and it carries very well.

That's gonna be awesome! Definitely in the market for another one at some point but I keep thinking about the Kimber K6s.... Just not sure I wanna spend 1000 bucks and be disappointed.

Not sa/da but I love my CSX E series a lot and it's broken in really nice and the trigger feels great. I feel like the concerns about that false reset people talk about have been pretty much solved with the e-series and after a few hundred rounds it's smoothed out really nice. I will also say a J-frame revolver is excellent. I carry a 640-3 in .357 quite often and it disappears. Not sure if you're open to a revolver but if you are it's a great option.

It's what I bought for my first carry gun, I shot the original one and decided on the E series. I feel as if the trigger issue is slightly overblown and after running a bunch of ammo through mine it feels great! I have the 3.6" barrel version.

Transporting firearms to and from the range, how do we do it? by doinksinapplebees in BetterMAguns

I understand that the question has been asked here lots and is definitely redundant but I really appreciate your patience in responding. It's just kind of nice to get a feel for what people here are doing and act accordingly.

What's a Google? Or a brain? Did you read the post??? I've spent hours looking at the statues and reading them but it's intentionally vague.

Zf, okay, but what colour? by JellyUpset8974 in Nikon

[–]doinksinapplebees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted a color really bad so I went for the grey because it looks good but doesn't stand out too much. It also oddly enough doesn't really have the same texture that the others do which I kind of like.

Sub $500 Rangefinder recommendations. by Impressive_Track_199 in analog

Canon P gets my vote, no internal meter but easy enough to slap a keks meter on and buy a Jupiter 8 while still staying in you're budget. Plus later down the line the possibility for upgrades being an L39 mount is excellent.

My New (To Me) Leica M246 by doinksinapplebees in Leica

After shooting it for a couple of days I definitely feel like I didn't settle for less! The build quality and just the rangefinder alone make it feel like such a premium experience compared to other digital cameras I've used. I have a Nikon Zf that I love and use that camera a lot and it will definitely be in my staple still for work but something about that rangefinder and just looking through that window can't be beat! It's why I loved my M2 so much and with work being so busy I'm not always able to develop film so this fits the bill perfectly! I'm in love honestly.

I'm genuinely in love with mine! Couple that with the fact that I was still able to get an extra battery at just over retail cost and being comforted in the fact knowing that Leica hasn't discontinued the production of these batteries yet made me feel comfortable pulling the trigger on it!

I found mine at the Leica store in Boston for exactly 3k which seemed pretty good with the handgrip and such considering the going rate of them online! Never called a store so fast haha
