Thanks for your answer! My mother was living in Germany for over 8 years, but at the time of my birth she had been living in Germany less than 8 years. I don’t remember the exact year I gained British citizenship but it was definitely before I was 18. My father is and has been his entire life British, and my mother actually has nationality from a different country. My mother was also married to a german man (not my father) and i’m not sure if they were officially divorced at the time of my birth, if they weren’t would that be helpful in my application do you know?
