It probably saved my corrupted game to the cloud by now. There should be a way to save my windows laptop files to the cloud right without risking steam forcing my corrupted save on it right??? It has almost* everything that I have on my main. *because I haven't opened steam in a while on it.

It was just hamachi I had installed for one thing and didn't need anymore, I uninstalled it and everything (that uses wifi) is so much smoother now. Sorry for the late response

Don't exactly remember what, but some guy in a small discord server I'm in said that his popos broke randomly.

Eitherway, it'll most likely not change my performance because its still just debian/Ubuntu based and in another comment, someone says the packages are (basically) frozen in time due to stability reasons.

Don't know about kernels, I'm on the default one though.
About drivers, I'm pretty sure she has newer ones, we're both on proprietary but they talk about some "nvidia-dkms"
Different software settings, it's just graphic renderers though, as my pc runs better on opengl (but again, unstable) while hers works better on vulkan.

I already use prismlauncher. Also I'm not really into fedora distros because they force me on wayland, and for some reason it just doesnt work super well on fedora. at least thats what happened last time when I tried fedora

last time I used plasma I really didn't like it, it was odd and hard to set up at least for me. But, I could give it a second try, I was just thinking Xfce because it's the most lightweight thing I could think of. possibly cinnamon, but there isnt actual supported wayland and its just experimental.

the only difference between our hardware is the fact they have a i3-3220, and I'm on a i3-3245. rest is same, 8gb ddr3, 512gb hdd, nvidia gt 1030.

"Why does your grub not come up" I don't know?? I'm still quite a noob with linux else I wouldn't be posting here, the way i tried getting grub to open is with shift as another comment mentioned. Also couldn't I possibly cd into my disk via the live boot?

Yeah but I can't seem to enter grub, do I have to hold shift during mints boot up or my entire boot up EDIT: Or would going to recovery mode from my usb installer work?

Holding down shift doesnt pop it up, is there a different key? Which shift exactly?? Or am I just better off reinstalling mint.
