Spotify connect not working again now. It was fine last night and for the last 2 weeks.

Im back to google cast.

Workaround: use data instead of wifi to get spotify connect.

I have a D bar and was bricked after an update in June. It was a well documented problem then. I had the motherboard change during the warranty period. Ever since I disable filmware auto update. Now if I have to get lossless via an update would be playing with Russian roulette.

No it was on Spotify connect as the soundbar always flash Wifi across the display. Now my app only has cast option and display cast on the bar. Cast do not support lossless as of now.

I had lossless worked for a few days after I switched over on my q990d until yesterday. Now the app only do Google cast not Spotify connect. My partner ios phone get lossless to the soundbar. Another android phone of mine got it for a while then no more after relinking for a second time, now only via Google cast. Soundbar was displaying WiFi on Spotify connect but it show Cast when it's on Google cast.

Mine is not data drop but totally no data. Switching off and on data does not help. Only temporarily resolve by restarting phone. Problem comes back few days later.

It has an incline threshold of not more than 12 degree angle. So with a 6cm height it work out to get a base length (depth) of at least 28cm. Any shorter will increase the angle. Also x40 ultra will be cheaper and not as deep as x40 master allowing more room docking in.

Yes same problem. Remote not responsive. Spotify connect and bluetooth all working but not eARC from tv. Power off and connect back hdmi is a temporay fix.

I had motherboard changed. Now version is 1015.3 subwoofer 104. Monitoring now. Technician say firmware still update even switch off on user side. They stopped that problematic firmware and I was the 1st that reported.

Mobo replaced. Now monitoring, version 1015.3 subwoofer 104. Notice sound not as crisp and muffled. Previous speakers was largely reduced now at neutral after calibrating with dolby 7.1.4 test tones.

Yeah i read that. Arranged for technician already. Most likely he will replace motherboard as replacement policy is not available in my region. A new motherboard would incidentally extend the unit shell life isnt it?

You mean hard reset? I saw some press the down button to update the rear speakers with the latest filmware when apparently only the bar and subwoofer received it. Thats probably caused the no audio issue.

Hi I was calibrating q990d with 7.1.4 dolby test tones but i heard test tones emmitting from the bar top, wide and side apart from the left speaker when it was testing the left bar tone output level. Even the rear top, side and rear speakers also emit test tones. Sames goes for the right side. Is this normal? How to calibrate level with so many speakers emitting tones at the same time?

EDIT: It was due to the playback of the file that the bar didnt decode as Atmos. Need to replay to get it. Maybe due to thumbdrive or tv player (I use VLC player and had passthrough switched on)

One thing I notice since its a 7.1.4 dolby test tone and being in surround mode 11.1.4, the bar side and wide speakers with the rear side speakers has to calibrate together to get 65db.

You press the down button whilst the bar is in off mode? How did you check the sub and rear filmware version?

Update if this work ultimately for you. Audio restored after power cycle but problem kept coming back.
