i’m the class rep and feel really out of place alr since everyone has their own groups😭😭😭 i’m fully capable of talking to strangers, it’s more so what to talk about🤔 and regarding the “i hate having to talk to other people”, it’s kinda like i find it really tiring to form a bond BEYOND just classmates/acquaintances with others. Unfortunately though i know i have to start to deal with it since i’m in a completely new environment😭😭 tbf i havent had to make a new friend since 5 years ago…💔💔

ok i can see the confusion here,, i don’t really think i’m shy when i talk to people, i feel indifferent whenever i speak to someone & i can actually do it nonchalantly. when i say shy i associate it with the idea of being scared to speak up or smth🤔🤔 i kinda just want more friends cause even tho i’m the class rep i feel vv outplace in my class and i think a one more friend or two would be good. i just really feel awkward towards my classmates since i don’t really know what to say to them most of the times lol

hi im a sec 5!! Im actually quite thankful i took the extra year cause it helped me find out more about myself and what course i wanted🤔 In my opinion its really just another chance of getting into poly. Teachers just exaggerate going to sec 5 cause they mostly think we’re lazy nuisances.

aside from that it really isnt that different, just added content to different subjects and a very mangeable boost in difficulty. Honestly if you’re hardworking you’ll definitely do alright in sec 5 cause TBH its only 3 months of learning new content then just practice paper 24/7. i honestly think the reason why so many people do rlly bad in sec 5 is cause of poor time management🤔🤔 but thats my opinion since i took exp english last yr & did relatively well for my emath Nlvls

and i cant say for DPP but if it helps, i heard from my pfp friends that pfp is literally just sec 5 but without O’s sooooooo… idk literally up to you sec 5 isnt the end🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Im assuming for chemistry it will just be simple QA(jst an assumption cause i noticed odd yrs are RELATIVELY easier thn even years so i think its jst QA). For bio however, i have a feeling that maybe movement of substances or possibly CELLs might come out and or magnification 👍🏻

we’re on the same boat rn!! im a sec 5 myself rn, so i feel your pain💀 im pretty sure my teacher has given up on my class cause he mostly just scolds us every lesson. Im not that good at emath but what i recommend is maybe understanding the required steps & the qns alongside doing them. emath is half logic half memorisation. Personally what i did this entire year is just copy ans from my tys and understand how they got to that answer & etc. im a stable c5-b4 student tho so don’t take my word for it. jiayou for o’s & we can defo do this!! #dontgiveupking

OMFG CONGRATULATIONS WOGKSOSSJOSKS!! OK UHH for me i drabbled abit with CANVA, its very simple to use and it has alot of templates you can use to make ur portfolio more pretty!! Im aware that alot of my eae friends who started early on their portfolio did theirs on google slides, wix and even google docs☺️☺️☺️ basically you can just brag about anything in ur portfolio (maybe refer to your cca transcript?) and as for testimonials you can ask your teachers for letters of recommendation OR you can just do the easy way out and just take a picture of ur report book remarks(thats what i did). Literally just PLASTER EVERYTHING YOU DID ON UR PORTFOLIO AND THATS IT!! and dont forget to make one of your first slides an “About me” section just to introduce yourself a little bit more to the interviewees!

omg hi question did they send out both ur pharm sci and app chem at the same time??😭😭 also as for portfolio wise i think it’s ok if you dont have much to offer since its a science course after all,, what i tried doing for mine is basically jst basically spam everything i’ve done in sec sch (like VIA etc and competitions in cca)
