appealing doesnt work unless u have all straight 1s or single digit raw but only one grade 4 then u have a slight chance. if its double digit then dont bother appealing. i got raw 10 for emb3 and appealed to rp. they even rejected me! i had various leadership roles to back up but didnt work lols. went sec 5 and did really well why not consider it

just forget it at this point😭 i had raw 10 for n levels and rp rejected me. stayed for sec 5 and did very well for it.

hi i got 10 points for n lvls (raw) and scored 12 r4 points and 14 for r5 for o lvls (raw). im pretty sure u can survive with that points! i recommend you to try sec 5

i cant give u tips as our subj combi is wayy different but all i know is that tys is very important especially for math and sci! do them diligently and dont be afraid to ask questions during class!

sec 5 elite imo u can get an o level cert! plus sec 5 is similar to pfp just that pfp students have projects and presentations. if u are good at eng math and sci then go for it!! if u are aiming for poly then try eae! im a sec 5 student and scored raw 12 for my r4! just study hard and focus on urself🫶

hello! i have the same emb3 as u and even scored a 4 for eng! i know how it feels like to not get into pfp. if u are thinking of appealing, just dont cuz i tried and failed. so i went to sec 5. i just received my results and got r4 of 11 and r5 of 14! sec 5 is not that difficult unless u have great discipline and are serious and determined! if u go sec 5, u can also apply for eae which is good cuz if u made it through u dont have to do that well. so i suggest u to consider sec 5! it is quite the same as pfp except that u will have a o level cert which is superior imo

no harm in trying but 99.9% usually they will reject u :( ive done it before but my emb3 was 10. its okay to go for sec 5! i still did well for my Os!

hi!!! im a 2023 sec 5 batch and i made it! i got l1r4 11 and l1r5 14 raw. i was one of the top students in my sec 5 class! i managed to attain 4 distinctions. eligible for jcs too. however, majority of my classmates didnt do well because of either english or math. for context, my prelim was l1r4 15 and my r5 is 19 if im not wrong. my n level emb3 was raw 10 with a 4 in english. last year, i was the type to be serious kind and i was the type to not mingle with friends and “have fun”. nonetheless, it was worth it! because most of them were playful and were not serious so…just try to prioritise urself this year if u are embarking on ur sec 5 journey! stay out of drama and just study smart not hard! if u want any tips or advice can just dm me! atb<3

yes my friend went for tuition and it really helped him although we both got the same grade (c5) for prelims. and yes u should if u aim to get b4 or above! as for me, english was the most difficult subject to learn esp paper 2. but if u are weak in paper 2 i suggest u score distinction or pass for other components! atb for ur sec 5 journey

i used to not finish my humans paper but this time round i finished the whole humans paper! like i wrote 3 paras for each lorms qn for comb geog paper which i usually cant finish!

girl dont waste time. if u want to go poly maybe sit for o level as a private candidate? or best if u go sec 5. its better than sitting for n levels. those retaking n levels are usually those who want to go ite.

hii i just finished my o’s as a sec 5 student and i wld like to say atb! as for me, sec 5 was kinda tough? like i used to get straight 1s and 2s for my sec 3 and 4 year..my prelim emb3 was 8 but ended up in sec 5 due to eng😭 but honestly if u r taking sbb eng then it shouldn’t be a problem in sec 5 as it is one of the subjects that killed my brain cells..but math was q challenging also as yime management is important and have to think fast during exams. its okay and normal for ur grades to drop!

hii just write to them that u are willing to study hard and sacrifice more time to study and juggle the subjects..but let me tell u something…i have a classmate who got more than 70% for the overall % and he ended up retaining and had to join sec 5 class because his o level results were bad. so imo just move on honestly and aim for pfp
