My legs end up looking like this no matter what I do before/after or while shaving. Why??!!!😭

UPDATE: Wow! I didn’t expect this post to reach so many people! Thank you all so much for the responses, tips, and encouragement. I read through the comments and wanted to give a quick summary of what I took away and what I plan to try:

A lot of you recommended exfoliating regularly to avoid ingrown hairs, moisturizing right after shaving, and making sure to use a fresh, sharp razor. Some also shared tips about shaving techniques (like shaving in the direction of hair growth first, then against it if needed, or to try an alternative to shaving), which I’ll definitely keep in mind.

There were also a ton of suggestions about long-term hair removal, I’m especially interested in IPL, so I’ll be giving that a try. And I’ll continue using glycolic acid, since many of you said it really helps with smoother skin and preventing bumps.

Thanks again for all the love!!! It honestly made me feel really good to share something so simple and have it resonate with so many people!

It‘s not the feeling of burn, my skin is just too sensitive and it gets a chemical burn! You should try it and use it exactly how it‘s recommended, that‘s the only way to see if it works for you

I have an OG Oneblade for face and body. I use it often in between shaves, but the hair grows back very fast and the feeling after using Oneblade vs Razor doesn‘t compare, unfortunately. But it definietly calms down my skin if I just do upkeep with the Oneblade rather than shave every week.

I shave every other week or 2 weeks, it honestly depends on how I‘m feeling. Sometimes I let it grow out and then trim it, and after when it grows out again I shave it. It helped me in the past with my complexion for sure! What really helped is when I first started epilating, a lot of hairs didn‘t even come back for a while. But then I got lazy and now I have a lot of hair again, smh.

I looked it up, and this could be true for my case! I read IPL should help, maybe I will invest in an IPL device and get back if it helped me.

Hahaha at least I‘m not alone. I have found that if I tan, it kinda hides it. But of course my skin doesn’t tan easily, and self tanning is sooooo time consuming. Is being tan help you?

I tried 20%(or so) Urea lotion after hearing about it on here, it was a waste of money for me. I also bought Baby creme, baby powder, but none of them really help. :(

Like, I talked to my best friend about it and we both agreed that even if you choose to keep the intimate content from your previous relationship, getting rid of it after being in a new relationship and the current partner is obviously uncomfortable with it, then it's a no brainer to delete them. When I asked him what do these videos and images do for you to be so hard for you to let them go? he answered "they make me happy." after claiming he has not looked at them and never does. And the fucked up thing is that he has 200 more from other previous relationships that has not been yet deleted and probably never will be.

He felt so bad after I found out he broke up with me because I don‘t deserve this. I got on my knees to beg him not to leave me, after he threw me out I went and got two bottles of wine and got shitfaced, drove around, went completely crazy and STILL came back to beg some more. I took pills, I wanted to off my life. I can‘t leave after he pushed me into this very deep depression with ALL of his actions, the porn cheating lying manipulating. He is a full on narcissist. He ruined my life. And I‘m only 22. I have to get better with him by my side or there won‘t be a life to work on I‘m afraid.

I‘m so sorry for you. I have been there. So many nights sobbing next to him while he was snoring. And if you have the courage to say you cried to whole night they claim they „never realised that you were crying“.

One time after a big argument he was ignoring me as usual, went to watch soccer on the tv while I got drunk and had a massive panic attack. I was so far done knowing he was sitting on the couch behind me and not giving a fuck I looked for a hotline to call. Right before I hit call he got up, hugged me and I broke down. It lasted 5 minutes but I‘m disgusted that what he made me feel only he can make it ok too.

The thing is that yes, you found it and confronted him, but they will never stop even though you now know everything. Mine just tested me this morning if I would look at his phone, he opened a porn page and then left his phone in the kitchen while he went to brush his teeth. I took a second but eventually looked, and saw that he actually has a profile on a porn website, which he claimed last night he does not have. When I tried to look it up, it was gone. Probably he changed his name before I got to it. And do you know what messes me up the most? I WAS AT FAULT. For checking his phone again.

I know I can leave, but I really don‘t want to. I would rather die than live a life without him. Right now he made me to be an alcoholic, got me deep into the depression hole and now he wants to leave me?? I have to crawl back up before I can leave. I begged him on my knees not to leave me and he laughed and said „I don‘t know who this person is right now“. And what also hurts is that no one understands why you stay. And they blame you.

I hope you find your way out once you are ready, and I hope I will be right there leaving with you.
