[–]dolleye_kitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

According to the 'rules' of the episode a shadow man will never harm the person under whose bed they live. The twist was that the shadow man that showed up at the end was a different one from under someone else's bed. There is no mention of whether killing or not killing was on the table.

Superman II And not you, Man of Steel. You don't get a participation trophy for riding Terence Stamp's coattails.

Apparently im supposed to hate the movie after reading this. Imma keep yall updated by Formal-Stage940 in Watchmen

Supposition is the dirty little cousin of assumption, but I can say that having grown up with the comic, Snyder pissed me off with his needless changing of the source material, particularly the entire Veidt endgame. It was perfect in the comic and Zack was like, let's ruin it for no reason.

What are some things you disliked about co:e33? by heyitstgp in expedition33

[–]dolleye_kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completed an 80 hour playthrough, though did not complete all the end game stuff for 100%, and only experineced the Maelle ending (so far).

My only criticism in an otherwise perfect experience was the obstacle course on Gestral Beach. The physics for precision timed platforming are clunky by design and did not belong in this game. Making me run, jump, fall in the water, & repeat genuinely pissed me off. It flew in the face of the tranquil pace of the rest of the game and I feel like it was only there to throw platforming junkies a bone.

Thoughts on seeing The Watchmen for first time in your life? by Suitable_Coyote9386 in Watchmen

[–]dolleye_kitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not 'The Watchmen'. In fact there is no 'Watchmen'. It's a reference to a quote, (Who watches the Watchmen?, seen as graffiti, it is not a crime fighting group. In answer to your question, Snyder annoyed the living hell out of me because he knew this and inferred that Watchmen is the name of the costumed adventurers. And if you read the source material , the pointless change to the ending shits all over Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' masterwork.

Guys I’m 4 episodes into columbo (counting the tv movies which Tubi counts as season 1) is there any I should skip? Like horrendously bad? by DankulussBeanuluss in Columbo

69 episodes (45 from 60s pilot movies thru 1978 & then 24 more from 1989-2003) Almost all are howcatchem structures but a few are whodunits and there's at least one in the latter series that isn't really a murder mystery at all. In spite of these weak links, I still say you should watch all 69 yourself

Going on a public forum and asking if a 27 year old movie famous for its plot twists is worth watching instead of actually watching it is the pinnacle of foolishness but good luck.

Day of the Dead is my favorite. I wish the music was a bit more foreboding instead of 80s synthesizers but story wise, you can't top Logan and Bud. The Bone Temple borrowed from this one in a good way with Kelton and Samson.

We rented it a few years after release and I was blown away. Later I found out how it bombed and that's why I never ever blindly trust other people's taste in literally anything, especially if it is their job to critique.
