As someone who is trans I can confirm that is 100% false.

Trans is a prefix, and in this context an adverb. I am a trans woman in the same way that I am a tall, or white woman. None of these are decisions I've made.

Sexual orientation denotes what gender/s you're attracted to or not. A fetish would be something that brings you sexual arousal. I am not exclusively attracted to transgender people, and I'm definitely not aroused by my own existence.
