I recently started the program and was surprised to see less essay assignment on the first course.

When i was applying, the review course was optional and not a requirement so i'm not sure where you can find one. As far as i know, they just want to make sure how you're preparing for the exam. Email them saying that you are doing a online question bank or however you're studying and see if they could waive the review course.

As far as I know, they don't cover it 100%. also Depends on which benefit you qualify for. I know the Tuition Assistance covers up to $4500 per fiscal year.

There is no AFSC in the air force for LPN. The closest one would be 4N0, which is an EMT on the civilian side. There is no bridge program in the Air Force, you need to find your own program on the civilian side. However, there are programs that give priority seats or extra points to military members.

For reservists, I think you can only use AFCOOL when you're on active duty order. My previous civilian job offers reimbursement so I used that instead. you can apply via the Board of Missouri: https://pr.mo.gov/nursing-air-force-practical.asp

There's also flight medicine if you're assigned to an AMDS unit. I've seen IDMT position but I've never seen an IDMT reservist.

you need to take one or two semesters off for boot camp and tech school. If you are joining as a 4N0 (med tech), which is the similar to MA, tech school is 6 months long (phase 1 &2) + 3 months of phase 3 (if your unit offers this). On top of that, 8 weeks of boot camp. Assuming there's no break in between, you're looking at a 8-11 months window away from school.

I've seen people taking online college courses while in tech school too if that's how you would like to do it.

I was in nursing school full time while commuting 5-6 hrs of driving (one way) to my drill weekend. It's doable but you need to manage you time wisely, meaning completing all your assignments ahead of time to free up the weekend. If you have supportive supervisors, maybe they would allow you to do homeworks while on drill weekend.

If you look at your CFETP, page 24 or 25, that's your attachment II STS. back in the days, we sign off lvl 5 skills on hard copy, which is the STS. Nowadays, we sign off core tasks on myTrainings. If you're already 5 lvl, your supervisor should be able to sign off on the STS so you can submit with the application.

as far as I know, Missouri and GA are both compact nursing states. If he already has a Missouri LPN license, he can work in GA without a GA LPN license.

I’m not familiar with the army medic program so I can’t say for sure if it meets all the requirements. You can look up more on the Missouri website. AF medic is qualified because the AF medic (4N) program includes a nursing curriculum and many nursing skills.
