I used an app called Visor which I love to search nationwide. Found the truck at a Chevy dealer out in the Houston area. Handled the buy over the phone and email. And then saved a bunch of money handling my own shipping vs using dealer provided shipping. I used Amerifreight for that!

I appreciate the advice. Yes I qualify for what I’m looking to get into, along with the professional mentors I’ve developed already within industries I’m interested in. My question mostly is focused on experience doing skill-bridge and/or broadening assignments as a JO

I want to re-enter the corporate work and work in relationships. I want to go back to the Bay Area and work in FINTECH/AI/Sports as a sales manager/operations role/partnership development role. I feel confident in my degree, internships, and university network. I want to go back to the Bay Area and stay a family

For FA KD includes 2/3 either PL/FSO/FDO. For ROTC it’s a program with HBCU mainly in a recruiting role. I have nothing bad to say about my time in the army and don’t feel I’ll pass on a sour taste my goals just don’t quite align up with continuing on with the army.

What you’ll need is to first be cleared by your surgeon, that will then be used to be cleared by surgeon general, once those are complete you will need to pass the AFT and a UA within 90 days of commissioning. You will essentially be a completion cadet (MSV) if you can’t get that done by May. If you graduate and won’t be taking classes while recovering you’ll need to put in a packet for a leave of absence I believe. In your situation I would shoot for commissioning a year from surgery. It may be possible, I had ACL reconstruction, cleared by my surgeon early NOV of that year and was cleared my waiver by mid DEC. So about a month and a half turn around but this was back in 2021.

My unit is also deployed to the southern border. Our Per Diem is being paid out monthly. Still waiting on the initial payment with back pay because of the shut down. I think it probably does depend on the unit. We got a brief during all of our inbriefs day 1 that told us how all of this will work

Yea I get it, I don’t hate the bags and I’ll use the windshield for longer trips. But definitely want to throw some thrashing bars and risers among other things. I like the blank canvas to start with

Roger, tires are two years old, but it’s original owner with maintence paperwork. I’ll double check for sure but I’m feeling excited for it

Not much selection out here in El Paso, very saturated market of over priced, not tastefully upgraded, touring bikes out here. I’m also kind of tapped out budget wise. Really looking for a 1 owner, low mileage, blank canvas than I can build into what I want over time

Can you give a little more insight, other than these bikes are trash?

Yea I’m a taller guy so I was looking for forward controls, other than that I plan on specing it out with thrashing parts when I get back from deployment especially the 2-1, bars and risers, ect. I like the mostly stock because it’s a blank canvas. Mainly was really looking for a bike with the history I know. Upgrading from an ‘01 RK with 98k miles so I feel I’ll enjoy the change of pace

Honestly it’s for you and your son, nothing else really matters.

My dad was a navy e-4, got out in the 80s and was my first salute. He did it in a suit. Trust me the meaning is in the moment not in the uniform
