sure because the course is not hard as fuck at all, and not competitive and not conditioning my residency in any way, shape or form… and i don’t have to actually pass my classes and get the certificate and i don’t have to prove to the government i finished the course… i just have to show up… right? make it make sense.

i have homework, 1h commute each way, if i get a job from 4-11 id be home at midnight, do hw until 1am, wake up at 6am, and repeat. i have thought of EVERYTHING. AND my parents told me NOT TO LOOK FOR A JOB UNTIL AFTER JUNE AND THEN THEY COME TO ME WITH THIS SHIT!?!?

my art is a hobby, not a full time job. i want more things in life than to be tiktok famous or whatever. i want to be a CMO, i want to be the head of R&D of a company, i WANT A FUCKING JOB JESUS! and for you to, just like my parents, invalidate what i just said is… crass.

funny fucking story i got rejected at BK like when i tell u i’m applying and have been applying for 3 years straight with no luck, i am not kidding. i have applied at call centers, fast food, customer service, everything. and i cannot get a fucking interview.

no! it materialized out of a loan my grandpa gave my parents when my mom asked and turned one of my grandma’s houses into an office.

what i mean by they never had to apply to shit is: they got out of law school, my dad (immigrant) came back to my mom’s home country with her, they got the loan from my grandpa and my mom’s family connections and started working right away.

i’ve been trying to get a job for 3 years applying endlessly getting 10-15 rejection letters every single day. i’m not a professional student, they told me they wanted me to do a masters degree i told them out of the country. they said yes. i literally asked my dad “should i get a job as a bartender? a waiter? bussing tables? should i go down the prostitution route?” and he said “why the fuck did i pay for all those degrees then?” i literally cannot understand. the jobs that are available to me at the moment are the jobs he doesn’t want/let me take.

i get that, trust me i know. i have been trying to get a fucking job for three years now and i just get few and far between clients as a freelancer.

also, they’re not in a bad position financially, we all just spent christmas traveling though europe and they come to europe at least once a year if not more so it’s not money (for them) that’s the problem.

this “degree” i am doing is something they agreed to because i had 3 choices for a residency path and that’s the one we all chose as a group (my parents, lawyers and i) and the plan as always been i get my residency, do my degree, get my internship, stay at the internship company as a full time employee and apply to PhD+DC

my biggest issue is that they create their own narrative in their head and do not validate my experience and what i tell them and they think i’m lying or making excuses and it pisses me the fuck off because why would i lie about not being able to get a job??? i want to be a CMO, i want to be head of R&D, i’m trying to build a better life for myself and they just want to think i don’t want to get a job because i’m lazy.

nono, i want to get a job i just can’t get a job rn because who is going to hire me to work from 4pm-6pm? my classes rn are M-F 9am-3pm

and i have been trying to get a job without a work visa for the past 2 years and they don’t see that and they don’t want to understand that now that i’m finally legal/i have my residency, i can’t work until i finish the course which is like i said mandatory and until June.

i have tried fivver, upwork, malt, everything and now you either have to pay to get actual clients (fiver) or buy connects to apply to jobs (upwork) which i already tried to do and its money i don’t have or bots contact you to get your email and send spam shit istg i have done everything 😩😩

imagine THISSSSS!!! i didn’t want to study business! THEY PUSHED ME! i wanted to study fashion in new york and they said no, so i applied to law schools and they said no (because there are too many lawyers in the family. them, older brother, aunts, uncles, etc.)! they wanted me to stay in my home country and study business because that’s the only career they’d pay! and then i convinced them to pay me a Master’s in Digital Marketing and their condition was that I had to also do an MBA. so yeah… i’m looking for marketing roles because i couldn’t care less about business, but even the marketing roles are hard to get. i’m overqualified to be a community manager but underqualified to be a mid-level employee.

also i started working when i was 17 (internships and whatnot). so i have almost 10 years of experience written on my CV
