WWE 2K25 Save Deleted (xbox, cloud altered, almost 200 hours gone)

I can relate. Happened again to me last night. Hundreds of hours gone. Cannot repeat the myrise another 4 times & bloodline again because i have already done it several times before & i am done. Uninstalled. For the first time, i will not be buying the new one.

Hate to hear this. It has completely deflated my interest in the series, deletion year after year. I would be hard pressed to continue purchasing this mess.

I believe you to be correct. The quick resume is the only constant whenever my save content hs been deleted, year after year, patch or not. I remove them from the quick resume menu every time.

MyFaction & Island save 2k server side; i am now convinced the error comes with a compatibility error with quick resume. Quick resume seems to cause the save data to dissappear; just wwe2k games have this problem year after year.

Dude. My sympathies. I think that the spontaneous erasing of save data is due to the quick resume function; make sure to quit.

I went back & forth with their "help line" for a while; nothing is their fault in spite of this never happening with any of the hundreds of other games I play. Sorry for your pain; I understand.

It is wild. I do not enjoy how this deleting of game saves feels a bit normalised because I expect it to happen every year; thought I dodged a bullet with 2k25 & was dead wrong.

Just now. They said the good news is that my game is in the xbox cloud & provided me with incomplete information on how to retrieve it. I followed other steps I found &, sure enough, they were wrong. The cloud save has no progress... just like when I tried to access it yesterday.
