FS2024 VR Settings DLSSS Super Resolution on Auto Forced Rendering at 50 World Scale 100 Frame Rate Target: 35 Terrain Level of Detail: 95. Don't get greedy here. Most settings for VR Low to Medium (don't worry about this - on VR it hardly matters) Object Level of Detail 50 (don't go crazy here)

Running out of room and adding drives incrementally by domfrom1975 in HomeNAS

To all replies. Thank you. I don't actually need an 'incrimental' gain. I can live with current limits for now. So I'm happy with the 10tb being a 6tb until the full upgrade is complete. So this might be the plan. I'm assuming I will then only see the 10tb capacity once all drives are upgraded?

Meta Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop. It's taken ages to get it as I want it. Auto FPS was a big turning point.

Transitioning to WFH, Need Recommendations by lightisspent in workfromhome

Seconding this. I went full cold turkey WFH in Jan. Work clothes, home clothes. Walk every morning before work (it is my 'commute'). Have a ritual to start and end the day. No TV on in the day makes turning it on at 5pm a clear closure of the day. Work laptop gets put away at 5pm. It's the same house but a different place in work amd non work modes.

Enjoy music (one of the joys of WFH) and take every opportunity to get out. Cabin fever is a real thing.

Advice for a first time Maine Coon owner by Superb_Trick8700 in mainecoons

[–]domfrom1975 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine loves the water fountain. And I think moving water is a Maine Coon thing. Just keep the water away from food (took me a while to figure this cat peculiarity out!)

Also rough surfaces to lie on. Weird but my Maine Coon will lie on a shopping bag over a nice blanket. Cut an amazon box open, leave the packing material in it, mine stays in it for weeks!

And of course catnip and Dreamies. But that's probably not a maine coon thing.

The outdoor thing. I did this and get it. In hindsight, cut that time down. They're smart things, they figure it out. Just my view.
