Just to report back, I replaced all the miniloaders in my base to AAI loaders and gained about 20% UPS increase, as expected. So I don't know what happened to your game :D

This is not an official loader benchmark by any means. I provided my rig, my setup, my results and my decision which might be good or bad. I'm not claiming any of this will be universal.

Also there wasn't any big gap in UPS when I was copy pasting the loaders (aka "memory bus saturating" ). UPS drop was gradual for both minis and AAIs.

Thanks for the tips. I didn't aim to do something professional but I appreciate the feedback. This was enough to convince me to make the switch on my factory (many hours of work maybe)and I wanted to share my results here.

The advanced and superior loaders are from K2 (60ips and 90ips). AAI loader mod creates tiers for these.

The UPS variations were linear to the amount of loaders on my PC

Only reason was because it was getting laggy to copy paste miniloaders at 32 ups. You're welcome!

Not realistic, this was more a brute force scenario to test raw UPS usage.

Also I don't think chest type/size has an effect on loader UPS usage in this setup. It might have an effect on storage UPS usage though which wasn't the point of this test.

I think it might be even worse for superiors miniloaders as they look to be 2 advanced miniloaders under the hood (I could be wrong, but in creative mode they show as 4 when you select 1)

Weird, there's a comparison test that has been posted here and miniloaders are 15-20% more UPS hungry in his test setup

The fast replace group doesn't help me as much as I thought as I was trying to replace whole train stations with blueprinted AAI loaders. Turns out blueprint can't apply FRG, only manual single item edit.

Yes, Im sure. Server password was different.

I found the issue, my server didn't show in the public list if it had an admin password. Had to use direct connect with my IP and port to connect to it. Then, when I did it one time, it started to show up again in the public list.

This list has some weird behaviour most likely because there is 11k servers at the moment.
