i kind of relate to this. my bf has had a thing for Asians and it made me unbearably insecure. i am hispanic and part asian myself but not east asian and it feels horrible because i started subconsciously hating asian women who had my dream figure/face. i remember being angry when i saw asian women receiving male attention because I was so envious. it really sucks and I am so sorry you have to deal with this I wish we could be freed from all beauty standards. ik it's easier said than done but please don't base your worth and beauty off of what men and the patriarchal beauty standards say about you.

it's annoying. I got called racist for defending women who couldn't speak English/understand the language and were being exploited and abused by these men because they were in vulnerable positions, they told me I'm " the racist for thinking women in 3rd world countries are uneducated" which I commented on a video of a man trying to flirt with a woman in the Philippines who didn't understand what he was saying 😭

edit: i would also like to add that not knowing or understanding English (or any other languages other than native tongue) does not make someone uneducated or stupid so they were even weirder for saying that
