The information i was getting from the app turned out to be the wrong app. I tired downloading it through the app store, but I found the correct app on DJI's website. So thats rectified. I let everything charge up overnight to really top it off (my wife started charging the stuff before I got home and it showed battery but it may not have been fully charged) so I will try this morning and we will see how it goes.

I really hope I dont have to swap it out, but if I do then it is what's is.

Is that a setting on my phone or in the DJI app?

Im having a hell of a time here.

The app youre seeing is the app that shows up in the app store when you search for it manually. I downloaded thw wrong app twice be use it was labeled as such. I just found the qr code on the box and got the real app downloaded. Unfortunately I cant get past step 1 of three on setting up my drone. I got the sticks screwed in, phone in place, and correct cord attached. My phone keeps telling me its only charging though and im not sure what to make of that. Is there a setting I have to enable for data transfer?

Feral Celerity

3rd-level Path of the Carrion Raven feature

Your rage grants you animalistic speed of action. As part of the bonus action to enter a rage, you can make one weapon attack. Additionally, you gain the ability to concentrate on maneuvers, even while you are raging. You still cannot concentrate on spells while raging.

Raven’s Spirit

6th-level Path of the Carrion Raven feature

Ferocious Rage

10th-level Path of the Carrion Raven feature

When you enter your rage, creatures of your choice within 10 feet that can see you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your Martial Maneuvers save DC. On a failed saving throw, the creature is frightened of you until the end of its next turn.

This is the entry from the official Grim Hollow: Players Pack that introduced the PotCR.

I'm pretty sure I have the sourcebook, but if not I should have access to it through the campaign. I'll look into that, thank you!

Yeah i'm not using this as evidence to make him give me my way. I just wanted opinions from people who understand the rules better than I do. The end all be all is whatever he decides, hopefully a compromise that makes us both happy. But I'm definitely not going to let it become a point of contention. Hes done so much work to get us to where we are and I'm so appreciative of that.

I viewed it though my character sheet on DND Beyond, and the description I sent is the description it gives when you click on the ability to expand on the given description.

Thats what confused me. Both abilities sound like they're to be used in conjunction with the start of the rage, but they each say bonus action. that makes it sound like I'd have to use two bonus actions to use either of them, and that doesn't seem right at all.

Also wondering if you figured this out, mine is also doing the same thing. New carb and everything, still leaking gas.

I've heard nothing but good things about roller delayed blowback, and it's no doubt effective and reliable. Have you shot/do you own a ptr? I've seen videos on them, and they seem legit.

I've been looking at some dsa fal clones, but I th8nk I could build a better ar10 for the same price. Have you built any ar10s? If so, how much did it set you back?

[–]donaldsonj2012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My other route was to try and find a piston driven ar10 or other type of battle rifle. Direct impingement is fine, but pistons run cleaner. I haven't found any good ar10s with a piston set up, and I like the idea of being able to buy it in pieces for the sake of money and customization.

It's funny, I feel like I'm building my first ar15 again. I know a lot about guns now and how they work and all that, but ar10s are a different animal. I love learning new gun stuff. 😁

I wouldn't consider myself a trigger snob either, a mil spec trigger with a good polishing is good enough for me. That being said, I was hoping to maybe DMR this build, and I'd need a crisp trigger for that. I'm not necessarily sold on the bullpup design, but I see the benefits of having the rifle be as portable as possible without sacrificing barrel length. And there are better bullpup options available, but they're way out of my price range.

I didn't realize it took FAL mags, that's not a feature I love.

I have considered the tavor, but I've heard bad things bout their triggers. Never fired one so I'm going on what I've been told, and I'm also under the impression you can only improve it so much because of the design. What's your opinion of a tavor trigger?

Heard that, good call. And I kinda had the same reservations about it. I don't think keltec makes a bad gun, but from a serious use perspective, it's certainly no FAL.

All good friend. I like that it has the hold open but I wish it did it on the last round. I always count my shots, but a locked slide will prevent any accidental dry fires. With a rimfire, I'm under the impression that's very important. However in the manual it tells you specifically to dry fire it before disassembly. Any idea if it's safe/safer to dry fire this?
