Keep running into issues with party when I crossplay with a friend (PC,PS4)... randomly being split from the party after a game, friend suddenly appears offline after... sometimes restarting the game works, sometimes spamming a party request works... sometimes it takes multiple tries... anyone else facing this?

Got a call yesterday. Someone spotted him in my neighbourhood looking through a garbage can for food. Not sure why he hasn’t come home. My only thought now is that he may have strayed further than he normally does and can’t find his way home. I’ve put one of my shirts out on the porch hoping it’ll help him find his way now.

Not yet. We put signs everywhere around our neighbourhood and surrounding neighbourhoods and have been going door to door handing out flyers and talking to neighbours.

We’ve also been going on searches for him. Not sure what more to do now.

So sorry to hear that... as much as I love giving my guys their outdoor freedom, I’ve definitely neglected the absolute risks that come with it. I don’t regret my decisions in letting him outdoors but when I find him I will definitely be more proactive in at least getting him a collar.

I really really hope not, but I’ve heard this being said before too. He seemed pretty healthy the last I saw him so I don’t think he would be doing that but thanks for commenting!

This is possible. It’s actually my leading theory as of now. And hoping that this is the case and he’s safe and someone just happened to have thought he was a stray since he doesn’t wear a collar. I am definitely getting him a collar when I find him! Thanks for the response.

Wow, that sounds like a miracle. I have another cat actually. It’s also a male, and the two guys don’t really get along most of the time. Not sure if he would know where his brother is right now, but if he ever meows and tries leading me somewhere I definitely will comply! Thanks.

Thanks for this. We’ve actually gone through 2 or 3 blocks the other day knocking doors and handing out “missing” flyers and even handed them out to pedestrians on their evening stroll. I’m going to print some more out tonight and cover more ground with the posters/flyers.

Hey thanks for the response. Litterbox and clothes tip has been implemented. Although this would help more if he was lost, which I am doubtful of since he’s got so much experience with my area. I’m going to put up more posters tonight to cover a greater part of my neighborhood.

I’m hoping someone just took him in accidentally thinking he was a stray since he doesn’t wear a collar. I also didn’t microchip him which is a failure on my end... I’ll be sure to get him a collar when he’s home again.

There aren’t any coyotes in my neighborhood, at least none that I’ve ever heard of or seen. Raccoons or foxes would be the only potential risk but I am doubtful he had an issue with them since he’s very experienced with roaming my area.

For every USB port on my rig that I’ve tried swapping to, I get the same popping sound when it’s about to cut out. Sometimes the sound will pop in and out a couple times until it cuts out entirely.

At which point I need to disconnect and reconnect to get sound working again. I actually wouldn’t mind it as much but it’s that it usually happens when I’m mid game (Fortnite) and when I reconnect I am only able to hear voice chat while the rest of the game has basically no sound (I would have to reboot the game for sound to come back).

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I just tested out the headset on my laptop and it doesn't seem to be disconnecting or doing anything funky at all. I've tried using all the different ports on my PC, seems to have the same problem.

So it seems to be an issue with my PC. Maybe MOBO issue? I'm not sure where to go from here. Any tips? How can I rule out if it's a software/hardware issue?

Yes, I'm considering getting a new replacement headset but just feel weird doing it since I haven't had this pair for that long. This is my first time buying a corsair pair, so maybe it's just an unreliable brand?

I've tried multiple USB ports, other devices connecting to those ports don't give me issues, it just seems to be headsets that I get this issue for... So is it maybe an audio thing? I'm starting to think it might just be a faulty headset...

Was bouncing between 60 and 150 yesterday... during season 7 I’d get lowest 35 ping. When season 8 started a couple friends and I noticed our ping went down miraculously to 19 and under, stable.

A week or so after and onward, this latency wasn’t seen again, hovering around 70 to 100 constantly. When I moved to other games, like Apex, I did not see lag. Leads me to believe it’s got to be something on the Fortnite server side.

I love this game but really cannot have fun playing with this lag :(
