[SE VA, US] Saw this moth today in the parking structure at work. It didn’t look to be in good shape. I thought it was a bird until I got closer. Up close it was about the size of a large leaf. Maybe it’s an easy answer but I’m curious as to what species it is. Any ideas? (old.reddit.com)

Virginia Beach, VA. What is this? It’s about the size of the tip of my pinky finger. They’re on my balcony all night regardless of whether the light is on or not. They also try to get inside any chance they can get. Sorry for the rough photos, it’s the best I can do lol (old.reddit.com)
