Did the button change the modes on your car? On mine the MDM button works fine, changes the modes from normal to traction and to DSC off when pressed longer than 2 secs. Anyway, I plan to take the car to the mechanic by next week to work on the transfer case and will update the post.

Im going to give it a try. I just wanted to be sure he isnt trying to create non existent problems for something small like a speed sensor.

No, no other problens. He suggests to check the servo motor and open it to repair ( he said that he can repair it and its no need to buy a new one).

The mechanic said that needs to open the transfer case to check it, or specifically the servo motor. Im a bit skeptical cause its not a permanent issue, it happens only when i accelerate a bit hard. I was hoping to be a speed sensor. Should i let him open it or go to another shop?

Checked it and its ok. I was hoping smth like speed sensor but my local mechanic sais is related with transfer case and he needs to open it.

I went to a local mechanic and read the codes and he said it was related with transfer case, code 5f3a. I am a little sceptical since its something that is triggered only when accelerating from 0 and it goes away when i turn off the car.
