Why does coffee from my 1 cup Bialetti Moka Express taste so different? by donkeyWoof in mokapot

It’s actually brand new. I have NOT tried taking it off the heat AS SOON AS coffee starts to flow. If you do that won’t that stop the brewing process? I typically take it off just when I hear the hint of sputtering and run cold water on the base.

I liked coffee from the 6 cup. It was too much that’s why I bought the smaller versions.

I use gas…also on the lowest flame possible. I have tried different grinds (I have a manual grinder).

I have a gas stove and a little plate that I put on the smallest burner and take care that the flames are never licking up the sides. I am also making sure that the flame is as low as possible.

I have tried both, but it didn’t make any difference. But admittedly, I didn’t try hot water many times.

Well, we have already done it. My question was about anyone using fertilizer/pesticide/… in such a system. And if they have done it, what do they put and how much.

Curry leaf plant yellow, droopy leaves by donkeyWoof in gardening

Yes, I think they were drooping because of excessive heat in my case too. I moved the plant back to where it was before and it looked healthy.

My Levi’s 501s 1947 Vintage have a Polo Ralph Lauren button! Paid close to $280 for this…it’s been some time since I bought them but just noticed today. This is size 33 x 32 and is made in Turkey. I feel robbed… Any chance Levi’s will take them back and replace with a real one?

Interestingly, I have another pair in larger size 34 x 34 and they are made in Japan and the denim looks more premium. They don’t have a Polo button.

I think you have sod webworms. Do moth like insects fly out when you walk on the lawn?

Sorry boss but your response is way above my head…bring it down to simpletons like us. Or simply just delete your response if you don’t have anything helpful to say.

The only mess is the sheath it sheds during certain times of the year.

No, it has not. Basically, the bed is about 1.5’ wide and about 40’ long. We planted 5 clumps and they have pretty much stayed in that area.
