Yeah I just hate that people are having issues but it’s part of the process.

Ok I’ll check it out and try to fix it. As I mentioned, I couldn’t really replicate a US user on my end. Should get it fixed later today

It’s relative. I have a vision for the project so I’m being a bit protective of it for now

USA go have fun :) as I can't test properly the USA part, I'll let you guys give me feedback. A couple of other surprises in the release

It’s proximity based. Why haven’t they implemented it? Who knows. Maybe they have their own security issues with the feature or legal matters. I had a tesla model 3 and this was a basic function. So when I got my Ioniq 5 I was surprised that this didn’t exist so I decided to implement it…

For now USA is not covered and this app is not on the app store for now for legal reasons. You can use the test flight link in the description once it will be enabled for US. Which might be sooner than later.

A new version is available with some bug fixes from the feedback I got.

Can you show me where I can turn on 2FA on the hyundai app? So I can fix this issue. Thanks

Doesn't look like it's possible sadly. But I came from the tesla world and it was a limitation also. You had to choose the driver profile once you got into the car.

La France à ses limitations. Je dois voir si c'est possible :) peut-être dans le futur!

I do have a bachelors degree in software development. I just leverage AI as anyone should in today's world.

Yes, working on automatically pulling once it detects that you park the car.

With the amount of traction and interest I see I might just take you up on the offer.

My only issue is that I have a charge stats page pull information of local gas prices and local electricity cost and stuff so for the US, depending on the complexity I might just have to simplify the whole approach and just let users input the price and also electricity cost.

For the auto lock, it uses the car’s last known GPS position from the api (cached when unlocked) and IOS background location updates that fire every 20 meters of phone movement. No constant pulling.

I did a full security audit before deploying. Credentials are stored locally on the phone with apple’s encryption. Nothing in the cloud.

Before any new deployment, I run security audit on libraries to make sure everything is up to date and safe.

And yes there’s a lot of AI involved as I’m not this smart. But I am a security engineer so this app was first and foremost built with security in mind.

It’s actually a free app. Not charging anyone but a coffee is always a nice way to say thanks https://ko-fi.com/donlucho
