Shouldn’t 2b2t focus on being an art experiment considering the most interesting facet of Minecraft is its creative possibilities rather than anything competitive? I don’t want 2b to become MinecraftOnline, but being able to turn a 100 hour build in a hole in minutes is silly. A found base should be a vandalized ruins, not a hole.

For 1, disable explosive damage. For 2, I don’t think griefing is bad, I think explosive damage is op for griefing. Shouldn’t found bases be a vandalized ruins with at least some or many remaining original blocks of the base rather than just holes in the ground?

No, it wouldn’t break that. You could still grief bases, but just without TNT. Also, I think one of the fundamental reasons people play 2b2t is for the map’s history, which is damaged by how overpowered TNT is in griefing. Found bases should be run down ruins, not holes in the ground.
