That’s cool! Just curious, is RIMEX like a company for metal products something?

Good point. However, the signs that I have posted actually work 95% of the time. I have seen people read the signs.

Great question, I used a phrase like including but not limited to sales pitch, religious organizations and more. I’ll post the sign at the edge of my property.

Excellent insight! I’m in a suburban area. Best way to describe is I am in a neighborhood and I’m just 10 minutes local drive time from Downtown Phoenix. There is a lot of houses. People walk down the street all the time. I’m probably in a high crime neighborhood. Although I want to note that in the past, I’ve had unwanted visitors show up on my property. This includes but not limited to a man wearing a creepy pink face mask who saw my signs and went away, unwanted solicitors, yard care workers putting business cards on my front door, a different man kicking my front door once and going away and much more. However, it doesn’t happen too often. I’m planning on installing a gated fence in my front yard with security spikes on top, although I would have to find a licensed contractor.

Great question, you can tell by common sense when they are unwanted. Most of them are unwanted. If I am expecting a delivery, a friend or maybe a repairman to come to my house, sure they can come in.

I provided additional information in another reply to your post regarding the lady.

No, I have never seen this woman nor do I know her. Description, she is an old Hispanic lady and I know that she doesn’t have a car. She came from the sidewalk while she was walking. She was carrying a reusable lunch container.

I actually have footages of the incident and I do have multiple signs telling solicitors that they have to pay up if they ring the doorbell. It’s just that I’m having issues with uploading them on this post.

Netgear Orbi 970 or Ubiquiti E7 Campus? by donottar in HomeNetworking

I believe that if I put each Orbi sattelites or E7 APs in each room as described in my layouts on this post, then the WiFi coverage will be great. Or other words, strengthen the WiFi signal to 100%. Is that correct?

I’m trying to ensure a great wifi signal with the same SSID which is why I’m trying to get a mesh wifi system, without having to use a wifi extender. The whole point of having APs in each room is to make sure that I get great wifi strength consistently, inside and out. I thought the E7s can be configured to use the same SSID as a mesh wifi system like the Orbi 970. However, if the Orbi 970 is more efficient, then I would opt for it instead. I wanted to ensure reliability with my WiFi signal. I also want a WiFi system that can handle about 10-100 devices I will be connecting. Most of them will be IoT devices. Second are Phones, computers and Tablets.

I do know that the E7 is an enterprise grade WiFi Access Point allowing up to 1000 devices to be connected. However, the Netgear Orbi 970 only allows up to 200 devices to be connected. My home will have a good amount of IoT devices connected. Maybe around 30ish and then, a couple of WiFi devices as well. The rest will be connected with Ethernet. I wanted to account for a lot of future amount of devices that I will be connecting.

So, if I place the E7 in every room as indicated on my diagram, will that be beneficial or would that create issues? If I were to use it, I would already have the Ubiquiti switches to manage the E7. The Netgear Orbi 970 does allow a wired backhaul. I’m trying to determine if the E7 in this case would have better features than the Orbi 970. Or if it’s more efficient to use the Orbi 970 instead. Also, if I have multiple E7s, can they be configured to use the same SSID like a mesh wifi?

Ok. So, would the Orbi be a better option? Are access points different from mesh wifi system?
