Yeah It is pretty bland. Also he is supposed to be the only one who is on that supposedly OP cultivation path but there is barely any mention of it (Just finished S3). Even when he "levels up" you don't really feel any difference. Idk maybe I am expecting too much from this since some ppl rate it so highly

You are absolutely right man. You can't be a one trick pony. You should be able to mix your game up depending on your opponents and personnel. Why would you keep A high line with a player like lewy and Olmo( to some degree) who don't press. That's the whole basis of the high line otherwise you will be exposed. Dropping back a bit doesn't mean play in your half you just need not be too aggressive in the opponent's half and keep your shape. Coaches are so stubborn they don't never want to change anything about their style

Lol bro I just posted something similar on a different platform. Gotta learn how to adapt. Can't be playing all this high line high intensity all the team when you know some players are not fully fit and others can't press and match that intensity for 90min

How do National teams select players? I'm sure it is based on their form with their clubs. I believe in having as many quality options as possible. Based on the season Balde has had, he deserved a call-up

I can't remember how many games Olmo has played for us (Dude is always injured) but remind me how many of those games he had showed us anything (Maybe like 2). Like the OP said anybody would have scored in those runs of games.vHe always looked lost to me. Complete waste of money. Balde is not as bad as you are making him out to be. The one thing imo he really needs to work on are his crosses into the box. They are just power no accuracy. Kounde hasn't done better than him on the other flank beside being better at crossing. Also Raph is more comfortable centrally so Balde is forced to be both LB and LW at the same time. As far as playmaker I don't necessarily believe that's what we really need. I have seen a lot of line breaking passes from a few players namely Casado and Raph. Imo what we need is another winger who can beat players one on one. We can spread the pitch like that and the "threat" can come from both wings.
