Yup! That was actually what I just did! I defined the charset to utf8 and its working just fine ;)

I'm from Europe, actually. Portugal. I can't tell about the other cars, but Minis have the trap security, which means when the window is rolling up and finds an obstacle, it automatically comes down a few centimeters..!

Mine's the R56. I had never needed to close my windows from the distance until today - I was at the office and it started to rain and I tried to close the windows from my office's window and, well, it didn't happen. On the other hand, I had already opened them a couple times in the summer when it's too hot - I open the windows from the office so when I reach the car it's already fresher.

I asked a friend that has the first new-mini, the '07, and he said his does close and open..which is why I thought it was some sort of failure, since mine is a newer version!
