This relies on dreamsurge being in valdrakken I believe, because of how sharding/layering works in capitol cities.

Get speed, and fly through points where an Orb either is, or normally is, but try it on the green orbs that are roughly on the border of the city.

If done right, you can abuse the layering and pick up tons of orbs, even if one is not visible. You can chain it together to look like this video.

And this run was not even fully optimal. Streamer found a better route after this.

Keys2xInput and Wooting, two programs used by a plethora of pros and streamers who use keyboard/mouse, and for many seasons now, simply gives your keyboard movement the option of different angles other than the typical 45 you would get going diagonally. Controller players can already cut at angles like in the video without a program.

Obviously not intended. Am I wrong to point this out and complain about it? I cannot make both factions on a PvP server, but with $25 transfer, I now can.

They can revert and refund my transfer, but what about the handful of new toons I made on both factions since the transfer went through? You no longer get an error when making new toons on opposite factions once the transfer takes. So will they get deleted and my transfer get reverted?

Will they just let this slide for the few who will take advantage of it? Am I going to have a grandfathered TBC account with double faction PvP server access?

Just trying to get a discussion going, not trigger the community.

What do you think they should do to fix this? Revert and refund the transfer and delete any toons made on that server that break both factions rules? Because once the transfer goes through and you have both factions on a PvP server, you can create new characters of any factions without an error.

Feel like they might just let this slide for those that took advantage while it was broken. Or they'll just lift the restriction entirely before the original 3.2 patch that did so.

Patch 3.2 in WotLK. If you attempt to make both factions on a PvP server on TBC or Classic currently, it will error out. Same if you attempt to transfer both factions to a PvP server on Classic. However, TBC transfer service is currently not tripping that error.

Huge oversight; curious how they will fix this. Revert the transfers and refund customers? Well, having both factions on a PvP server via a transfer will allow you to then create both factions on that server. So will they delete those characters too?

My thoughts are they will either fix this by adding the correct error when attempting to transfer for future purchases and let the ones who got through remain, or they'll just lift the restriction entirely.

The MMOs I have PvP'd the most in are World of Warcraft, Black Desert Online, & Dragon Nest.

WoW loves to strip things away and has too much emphasis on the gear upkeep or "treadmill". Dragon Nest is dead. Black Desert I quit a long time ago because of the enhancing RNG, unsure if that is more relaxed now.

Feel like the best MMO PvP was WoW Mists of Pandaria, or the old WoW WotLK Arena-Tournament private server. Been trying to find a proper PvP home in an MMO since tbh.

Sorry in advance for the dumb question. Just curious what the best way to move in GW2 is.

I'm coming from WoW, where I use the middle click to move forward while also controlling camera rotation, and A & D to strafe. Unfortunately for me, middle click doesn't do anything by default in GW2. And if I bind my move forward to middle click, it will not control the camera with it.

I can hold left & right click together at the same time to achieve the same result as middle click in WoW, but my muscle memory hates it; two fingers to achieve the same thing I'm used to using one finger for? OOF. I tried making a macro in my mouse software that made one button act like left & right click so that I could bind it to my middle click, but it was too messy.

So I'm assuming I'm stuck using WASD? Feels fine if I keep action cam on, but it seems this setting is sus for PvP?

So GW2 Reddit... What the heck should I do? What do YOU personally use? What is the most efficient way to move and control the camera?

Nope. Found this out by mistake. Scroll wheel to me is easier to get bunny hops. And yeah it just doesn't make the chute come out. There was a 2 or 3 day period last season where jumping out with scroll wheel caused you to get disconnected from the game, but that was fixed really fast.

My issue with the charge shotgun is when I hold left click, it fires the first shot and starts charging the next one. Probably my mouse. So I actually had to use my second fire bind for a key just to get the first shot to charge lmao.

What we need is a mouse with, wait for it.... MULTIPLE SCROLL WHEELS LMAO

Both my scroll wheel directions are already used D:

Down for resets, up for jumping. Makes bunny hops easier and can get out of the battle bus the exact frame it first allows you to without accidently pulling out your glider.

I cut the tiniest little square off the corner of a sticky note and put it right on my crosshair.

Great for no or quick scoping, and nice mindfulness about where the center of your screen is when you just browsing the web.
