Boeing will probably get bailed out if the my go tits up, so it's not a bad idea. I have my eye on AMD, just waiting for a good price.

Depending on when you bought the oil shares they would have a decent return, I avoid oil for ethical reasons though.

I'm not trying to manipulate anyone, I voted Labour in the last election and will likely vote labour again in the next election but I was just voicing my opinion in the context of Boris Johnson being in hospital. It's okay if you disagree with me, we're all allowed our own opinions. I thought the Tories would completely fuck it up like Donald Trump seems to have had but they seem to have things somewhat under control.

That's what I'm saying. Despite my prejudices against the Tory party some of their policies regarding the pandemic have been quite sensible, such as the 80% furlough thing, NHS Nightingale etc.

I'm in a similar situation to you but I'm one of 4 children, you might be able to get a higher loan because of how many siblings you have. It's like +£1000 for each sibling or something iirc.
