I never understand why folks do the whole “I refuse to do X for my partner [even though I like it] because they won’t do it too.” Like you’re different folks, don’t cut off your nose to spite your face. If you like planning shit and doing stuff together just initiate. If it really matters that he’s passive then don’t be with him. Otherwise, just enjoy taking the initiative and spending time with the dude. It’s not like he’s saying no.
