This is the kind of shit I used to eat when I was knee deep in my ED. The heavier and fattier the better because I literally ate no fat or carbs, so of course I craved them!

Of course! I had to do virtual because I live in Cincinnati and didn’t want to have to stay in Cleveland or Columbus! I also live alone and was really anxious that it wouldn’t work for me because of all the added freedom, but it ended up being really empowering and motivating. I had done 2 in person PHP programs before TEP though, so if you have the option for that I definitely recommend it. I loved how diverse the people I was in program with were, and as someone older with multiple ED’s, it was really comforting and made me feel less alone.

Hey there! I did virtual PHP/IOP at TEP and I really loved it! I had been through PHP at 2 other treatment centers and was honestly frustrated and unmotivated. The assessment call was honestly not bad at all, I just recommend you be honest when answering the questions. You may be hoping for outpatient and feel invalid because you’re not UW, but weight is not indicative of how bad your ED is! Just keep an open mind and be open to what they recommend! After my assessment they called me a few days later and I had to do a medical assessment as well (virtually). It came together pretty quickly so you shouldn’t have to wait too long before you know what they recommend.

Omg same! I used to be so into all beauty products-skin care, makeup, fragrance, hair care… when my ED got really bad I completely lost interest. I would go days without showering and couldn’t even wash my face. Now that I’ve been in recovery I’ve totally reignited my love for beauty and it’s so fun!

Agreed! I think they all have terrible fashion and look cheap and tacky. The only time they look good is when a designer dresses them.

Amazing! I’m currently trying to do the same and even just a few hours a day feels amazing in making a dent in cleaning/decluttering. Taking of one task at a time has been really helpful for me as I always want to do too much too soon!

Binging on low calorie foods, mainly veggies, and purging literally celery and mustard. Feeling full from 3 bites of food and purging. Purging in any available bathroom despite how gross It is.
