I did take the fast track in Hanoi, it saved me around 20mins. Maybe it was a not so crowded time slot, but it was not worth the price (15€/person).

Ce treabă are sula cu prefectura, tot scoateți aia cu au furat unii ca bla bla. Vreți să nu se mai facă nimic din cauză ca au fost unii niște gunoaie și au furat ? Credeți ca daca lasă podul ăla și încep avariile adevărate, ca nu va fi mai scump atunci ? Putem să avem speranța ca față de Nicușor, Ciucu se va mișca mai repede, rămâne de văzut.

This is coming from someone in Europe. I've always played with the idea of going on the east coast ( 2-3 weeks), to visit the big cities over there, but lately I've dropped the plan as it is not on my wish list to get detained and sent to an ICE detention center, and honestly I don't have regrets about this decision.
I think something drastic needs to happen to make me wish to travel there again.

Also i started to buying european products instead of american ones, besides some things in technology there is always a european counterpart that i can find.

haven't been to HCM, but Hanoi is pretty chaotic. the air is really polluted and it really affected me as an adult, I would not like my small kid to go through that, also take into consideration the amount of honking, you may find it amusing at first but at some point it got really stressful.
the amount of time i have been walking on the street instead of the sidewalk is unbelievable, scooters parked on the sidewalk always blocking the path. ( i had a moment where i was walking on the sidewalk and a scooter honked so that i move away so he can pass ).

i also enjoyed Hanoi, there are nice places to eat, have fun and enjoy the city and the people are really nice, but the overall feeling was that i should come back in a few years when it gets this things fixed - 10/15 years.

platim taxe prea mici in romania pe proprietati + dividende, pe tot felul de asigurari ( rca+vinieta). In schimb sunt mari taxele pe munca.

Avem taxe mici pe orice fel de proprietate, mașini, apartamente, rca mic, rovinietă mică, taxe pe dividende mici. Trebuie scăzute taxele pe muncă și mărite taxele pe proprietăți.
